The Country Garden Flower Company The Country Garden Flower Company Our flowers are grown within the walls of a beautiful Walled Georgian Garden, here in the heart of Essex.

We create for our clients beautiful seasonal arrangements using our own grown material, those that are foraged for and those from other British growers. We will use those from other commercial resources to compliment a required scheme when we cannot gather from our usual sources. We aim to provide flowers for you that evoke, those that remind of a time before, those that remind of a personal momen

t in time, whether it be yours or one of someone close. We cater for Weddings, Parties, Funerals and all other occasions. If you require flowers with a personal touch and a truly 'just gathered' nostalgic feel, cast us a glance, we are only too happy to help.......

A date for your diaries!!!
Our Festive ‘Pop up Shop’ will be swinging open its doors for Christmas 2025 on Thursday 27th November 2025 10am-4pm.
We will be open Thursday-Sunday from this date every week up until Christmas with our roadside stall stocked from the same date with a limited self serve selection outside of these times everyday from 10am-8pm.

AND WE’RE READY!!! All the plants are ready, the cakes have nearly all been decorated, the flower bouquets are to be created in the morning and the garden is looking pretty damn good considering the dry conditions….Come and visit us this weekend for a bit of garden inspiration. A small garden that packs a punch! This space has to work hard to provide interest all year round. With limited space and gardening on what is a sandy loam topsoil over a hoggin subsoil, this garden has to cope with serious drought. Something that’s becoming more apparent in this area, as time goes on and climate change continues. You definitely have to look at the finer details and work with plants that provide more than just flowers to provide your seasonal interest. So come along chill for a while, gather some ideas and leave us inspired…. Oh and enjoy homemade cake- there will be plenty of that!!

All the plants are ready, the cakes have nearly all been decorated, the flower bouquets are to be created in the morning and the garden is looking pretty damn good considering the dry conditions….

Preparations are well underway here at Carrier’s Cottage all ready for our Open Garden Weekend on the 5th-6th July 2025.

Plants are being prepared at our growing space all ready for you…..more on this tomorrow but there will be lots of unusual varieties on offer.

Cakes are being baked and new artwork by has been displayed for your perusal.

It’s nearly here folks!! Our last Open Garden Weekend for 2025!

The seasonal shift from late spring to high summer has been massive this year, the exceptional weather has had everything on overdrive. Our drought tolerant planting of our south facing front garden is now showing lots of seed head form, alongside the beginning of colour from the late summer flowering perennials. The back, north facing, garden lots of texture from bold foliage, rampant climbers with colourful annuals and perennials all in a vaguely tamed, wild style (a bit like it’s owners😆)

We’ll have lots more plants available for sale, seasonal cut flower bouquets, unique artwork from (a whole new selection) plus of course, lots of delicious cakes!!

Come and be inspired…
