This Wednesday my Kitchen is cooking up a Spanish Beef Casserole - cooked slowly (4 hours and beef very tender 😋) with paprika & roasted peppers, it's a Mediterranean delight. Though a casserole in name, it's best served Mediterranean style, hot but below oven temperature.
I serve with rice but like most casseroles it goes with just about anything. This isn't a spicy dish, but is also really nice with a dash of sour cream or natural yogurt.

Great family meal for busy families during summer break!

Serving this Wednesday - LesleyAnn's Beef Lasagne. Delicious combination of slow cooked meat ragu sauce with a bechamel white sauce with lots of cheese! Not overloaded with pasta layers.

A great meal for all the family!!

I get very good feedback from customers of all ages for this dish & invite you to try some!!

Hot, ready to eat on Wednesday, delivered from 4.30, or uncooked for you to cook later, & freezes very well too!! Stores in fridge for 3 days or simply freeze it for when you want it!

So, here to help, this Wednesday one of our nation's favourite family dishes is starring in my Kitchen!

Assisted by my lovely young friend Emilia, this joint creation of Mac & Cheese is delicious 😋.
Not holding back on anything - lots of flavour & lots of cheese: Gruyere, Mature Cheddar, Mozzarella & Grana Padano (we tend to call it Parmesan😊) & topped with lovely crispy panko breadcrumbs mixed with butter! 😋😋 Delicious!!

We had ours with a mixed salad - what's your favourite side??

Another hot & sunny day!! 😎
Though HOT, LesleyAnn's Kitchen continues cooking!!

This Wednesday 16th, I'm cooking an 'easy eating' Summer casserole. Not winter comfort casserole but an easy, light 'au jus' casserole.

We ate it warm tonight rather than 'hot' & it was delicious. We had it with steamed baby new potatoes, lovely! & Gluten free recipe used.

So this Wednesday I'm cooking a Chicken Casserole. Chunks of chicken, LOTS of vegetables in a light summer 'sauce' of white wine, tomatoes & a smidge of whole grain mustard.

It's both Gluten free & dairy free!!

Really nice casserole. Fabulous taste!! 😊 Smashing!!

Hi Mersea!

Despite a little down turn in the weather, 🥺 Mersea is always a great place to be isn't it?!! 😁

This Wednesday I'm cooking a sort of 'summer celebrating' lasagne! 🤪 Just a shame the weather doesn't fit the dish at the moment but it will!!

This recipe combines mixed roasted vegetables (which enhances their flavour) in a tomatoe base with an unusual ricotta, mascarpone & cream mix for the luxury white sauce with lots of cheddar & 'parmesan' for that expected cheese tang!

So, come try a lasagne designed for summer eating - 'cos the weather is better from Wednesday!!

Dish can be delivered cooked to eat fresh from Wednesday to Friday, or uncooked for freezing for you to cook at your convenience.
