This Wednesday LesleyAnn's Kitchen is Closed. Next Wednesday 30th it's the last Wednesday of the month and it'll be Lasagne Night? Wednesday is the 30th (not the 28th as one eagle eyed customer noted!!)
I'm posting October's menu but also want to highlight my new Friday bi-monthly menu, first one 9th October when I'm serving up a truly delicious dish - Venison & Beef casserole cooked with Apricots & port 😋. Friday's dishes are £9.00 per portion.

Good day Mersea!! Perfect September day - my favourite month & Perfect weather for a bit of garden tidying. This Wednesday I'm cooking a lovely Chicken & Bacon Pasta bake. Not padded out with pasta!! Chunks of chicken with complementing bacon in a cheese & leek sauce. A balance of flavours which I think works really well. Serve with a salad - smashing! Evening Mersea!
Another glorious (& less scorching) day 😎 !! Hope you've enjoyed it!!
This Wednesday I'm cooking Shepherd's Pie with a scrummy twist of salted leek layer& cheese topped creamy mash potato! Base traditional, but topping a bit 'glam'!😋😋
Has carrots, celery, mushrooms, good dash of Worcestershire sauce (GF) & cinnamon - just lush!! & It's a gluten free dish!!

I'm getting in early with a post as BH weekend😎!
This Wednesday I'm cooking a colourful summer chicken casserole (made with breast meat this time plus bacon) with a mix of summer vegetables - baby potatoes, celery, baby broad beans, sweet corn, & red peppers. - lovely light dish for summer eating!😋 & it's GF 😊 Delivery free on the Island, starting delivery 4.30pm. Evening Mersea! Hope all is well! For me, I am truly appreciating the cooler weather!! This Wednesday is the last in August & so it's Lasagne Night! The northern Italian Beef & Pork version. As always, traditional slow cooked ragu sauce with red w**e, bechamel white sauce with LOTS of cheese. It's a well received dish!! 😋 Serve with salad, green vegetables or even a baked potato.
