My bride Chloe came to me with a beautiful vision: to reimagine her mother’s heirloom wedding dress and make it her own for her special day. The original gown was a stunning vintage piece, preserved in incredible condition and full of history.
With a clear idea of the look she wanted, we collaborated closely to thoughtfully transform the dress while honouring its original character. Working with such a delicate vintage gown requires experience, care, and a gentle hand at every stage.
Chloe showed such patience and trust throughout the process, attending additional fittings so we could perfect every detail. The final result was truly breathtaking, she looked absolutely incredible on the day.

Real bride Annabel looked effortlessly stylish and elegant in her beautiful Silk & Maple gown.
Perfectly suited to her magical Christmas wedding at this iconic venue, the dress featured luxurious layers of flowing chiffon and a beautifully crafted bodice adorned with lace appliqués, delicate beads, sequins and crystals.
Annabel had a clear vision from the very beginning and the transformation was truly special. Would you believe this gown started as a completely strapless design? The addition of beaded straps and soft chiffon sleeves during the bespoke alterations process brought her dream dress to life.

Alterations complete on this stunning Allure Bridals gown ✨

This dress features the most exquisite detailing. Delicate lace appliqués and hundreds of tiny crystal beads that catch the light beautifully. Altering a gown like this is truly a labour of love. Each bead must be carefully removed by hand, and every lace appliqué delicately unpicked. Once the alterations are complete, all of the intricate detailing is expertly restored, bead by bead, stitch by stitch.

Experience and craftsmanship are essential to preserve the integrity of the gown and honour its original design 🤍
