We hope most of you will walk, but if you don’t, please don’t park on Tile House Lane, but use our overflow car park 🚘 🚗 🚙

☀️ What’s on? ☀️ Summer Fayre, Great Horkesley Village Green, 28 June, 12-4pm ☀️

⬇️⬇️⬇️ Schedule of the day ⬇️⬇️⬇️

☀️ 12pm - Fayre opens
☀️ 12:30pm - BWW school choir 🎵
☀️ 1pm - Dog Show begins 🐶
☀️ 1pm - Gaming Bus open (£4 for 15 mins, bookable at the main stall on the day) 🕹️
☀️ 1pm - Spirit of the Wild animal show 🐍
☀️ 2pm - Spirit of the Wild animal show 🦉
☀️ 2:45pm - raffle prizes drawn for food and drink to be claimed on the day
☀️ 3pm - Spirit of the Wild animal show 🦎
☀️ 3:30pm - rest of raffle prizes drawn

Open throughout the day we have fairground (wristband needed), face painting, possibly donkey rides, penalty shootout, and many (more than last year) food vans, a double bar, cocktail van, refreshments in the hall and lots of stalls, traditional games and family fun ☀️

🐕 🐶 Calling all dog owners! 🐶 🐕 

As part of the Great Horkesley Summer Fayre, we are holding a village dog show. We are working hard to try out new things that we think the village will enjoy as part of our Community Events work! The dog show is not yet full, and we haven’t had quite as many dogs sign up as we imagined.

We know lots of you will be turning up on the day, which is fine! If you are, please pop a comment below so we know you are coming!

If you do want to secure your spot, a link to the form is in the comments. As a reminder:

🐶 we have a crufts judge!
🐶 ALL dogs are welcome, definitely an informal show!
🐶 rounds include waggiest tail, dog the judges would most like to take home, best puppy and most obedient/best trick.
🐶 best in show / reserve best in show round
🐶 amazing prizes and goodie bags to be won, rosettes and certificates! 🥇 🥈 🥉

Did you know this year’s Summer Fayre has a gaming bus? StreetSide Gaming Bus Essex and Suffolk

15 minute slots will be bookable on the day, the bus has all the retro consoles you can possibly think of!

We will be selling wristbands for the Summer Fayre at the tuck shop at BWW school on Friday this week!
Wristbands give unlimited access to 5 fairground rides at the Fayre, and are £5 in advance or £7 on the day

We are so excited to welcome Spirit of the Wild as part of our entertainment for this year’s Summer Fayre.

They will be doing shows at
1pm, 2pm and 3pm, don’t miss it! 🐍 🦉 🦎

Educational wildlife experiences for all ages and abilities, where you can handle and learn about a massive selection of animals and birds!!!
