Wow wow wow! What an unbelievable night that was! Packed out all night long and pure vibes listening to our favourite music ❤️

Huge thank you to and all the staff and thank you to all our amazing support acts on the night who all KILLED their sets 🔥 big ups to for being flawless on the mic for SMGs set and one huge thank you to the main man for not only smashing his set but coming down early and just being a top top guy 🙏🏼

Thank you to all the ravers who came down and partied with us, without you the night wouldn’t have been the same 🕺

Impulse presents Jungle Cakes the after party⚠️

Right people it’s about time we shared some clips from the madness that went down at on Saturday night in Colchester💥

We’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped us make the night a success, the venue and staff, for helping out with hire equipment, the guys over at for setting up our custom merch, our photography Natalia, our headliners and all our amazing support lineup💙

Most importantly though, you guys who came down on the night- unbelievable vibes from start to finish, packed out and not a static person on the dancefloor🫡

So much goes into what we do, and Colchester isn’t renowned for being huge on DnB & Jungle, so selling out these nights that we invest so much into means we can keep putting these big nights on for you💙

IMPULSE X JUNGLE CAKES ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: BENNY PAGE⚠️

Last but definitely not least we have the main man himself. A pioneer of the scene who has definitively shaped the underground sounds of Jungle & DnB💥

Known for his records such as “turn down the lights” “trenches” or “walk like a junglist” Benny has collaborated with some of the most exciting vocalists and producers including MC Spyda, Topcat, Jessie J & Tinnie Tempah💥

Benny has been a fixture at Boomtown festival for the best part of a decade and is a central figure in the Jungle Cakes label of artists 🌴

We’re certain you’re as excited as we are to bring Benny Page to Truth Colchester for the first time and be part of a very special night 💙

Final release tickets are running low, don’t depend on door tickets because there’s no guarantee you will get into the venue- we are so excited to welcome you all tomorrow🫡

IMPULSE X JUNGLE CAKES ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: DEEKLINE⚠️

We’re right into the thick of it now💥

A man that needs no real introduction, international heavyweight and founder of the notorious label we all love Jungle Cakes 🔥

Deekline has been a pioneer of the scene for some time now, starting his journey back in the 90’s where he became the owner of London’s biggest pirate radio station Flex Fm which specialises in underground electronic music🔥

Deekline has created a catalogue of releases over the years, including multiple releases collaborating with Ed solo on their Jungle Cakes ep’s which have achieved massive international success🌴

One of his most fashionable releases was the 1999 hit “I don’t smoke” which reached no. 11 on the UK charts🔥

Deekline has completed multiple tours across the years- his most recent covering Asia & Australia which saw him complete 25 shows in 2 months 💥

We could sit here and reel off all the massive achievements Deekline has achieved in the last couple of decades all night, but there’s a clear reason why we’re welcoming him back to Colchester for the third time 🫡

IMPULSE X JUNGLE CAKES ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: BISH ⚠️

Time to bring out the big guns 💪🏻
bishh has more than a decade of proving himself as one of Bristol’s most exciting DJs, Born On Road resident; Bish laid the foundations for himself to become a deserved front runner for the UK’s underground DnB scene.

Triple threat plays by Andy C to a sold-out Wembley, bagging Radio 1’s ‘rinse out track of the week’ alongside Mandidextrous with their collaborative dancefloor banger, ‘Techno On My Mind’, and a 6 week tour of New Zealand with BOR are all recent testaments as to why you should know the name.

His steady climb to the limelight has humble origins. Starting off as a household favourite resident at nights such as Bristek & Rumble in the Jungle, he quickly began to hone in on a quintessentially Bristol sound.

His DJ capabilities span a multitude of BPMs and genres, all pushing cutting edge, bass-focused music. Able to effortlessly chop and change the tempo and energy, every Bish set is a journey you want to be on. Growing from DJ to producer and amalgamating the two has allowed him to build his very own style, and unique identity.
