It was the annual Wivenhoe Crabbing Competition yesterday, which I took my own kids to along with a travel version of my paint kit with the intention of just painting their faces - but as soon as I started all the kids around me were curious and I ended up painting a lot more kids! All crab themed designs, of course. Made up as I went along and a lot of kid input, but by the end I think I had a design worthy of going on my board! (See last photo for rainbow pink crab!)

Maybe next year I will be back in an official capacity as the day was so much fun! All in aid of Millfields School PTA! VOLUNTEER FOR YOUR LOCAL PTA those ladies are doing such good things but PTAs can’t function without more volunteers 🦄

Last Sunday I was in Braintree at the School’s Out Bazaar where I got to paint a lot of happy kids with designs that were /mostly/ from my board but we had a few changes here and there - mermaid skin dragon, rainbow flower fairy, lions oh my!
