Steve Swain Independent Civil Celebrant I am an independent civil celebrant. I have lived in Colchester for about 15 years and l am married to my lovely wife Becky. We were married in Prague in 2017.

I provide ceremonial services for the following:
Weddings
Funerals
Naming Ceremonies
Vow Renewals
Civil Partnerships
Commitment Ceremonies I have spent pretty much all of my working life in customer service roles and have loved every minute. I have recently taken early retirement with a view to starting my own business as a Celebrant. I studied with The Regency Academy for my Celebrant Diploma, at

the end of which l achieved a distinction. In addition to this l obtained a City & Guilds accredited programme certificate as a Successful Civil Celebrant. I am now able to conduct wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, civil partnerships and commitment ceremonies together with naming ceremonies for children and funeral services. Previously l worked in the funeral industry as a Funeral Arranger. During this time l obtained the experience to help, guide, and reassure, families through their grief as much as possible at a time of great loss and sadness. You will find me to have a great deal of empathy but at the same time l have a great sense of humour, but, enough about me. This website is here to help you find what you are looking for.
