In the last two weeks Coity Festivals have been visiting our chosen charities and good causes distributing donations from this year's Jam In the Castle.
Unfortunately our donations this year have not been as generous as in the past. Whilst we try to keep costs to our supporters down, the cost of putting on the event has risen dramatically, much of it due to the charges and requirements imposed on us by Cadw for use of the castle.
We must thank Flotek Group for their generous sponsorship this year.
Also the continuing support of A1 Group for the toilets and Coity Higher Community Council for the skip.
Donations this year
£500 to Hope Rescue
£100 to Coity School radio station
£400 to Coity School for outdoor equipment
£500 to Lads and Dads
£500 to Yr Bwthyn PoW
£500 to Sandville Self Help Foundation
£500 to Porthcawl RNLI
£500 to Gilead Chapel Coity
£250 to Bridgend Hospital Radio.
A total of £3750 which meant we had to dig into our operating reserves.
Unfortunately these ever increasing costs will mean we will have to look very closely into how we may present Jam In the Castle 2026. It is hard work for us but worthwhile when we are able to help our local charities and groups.
As always any sponsorship is most welcome.
Thanks also to our bands, our staging and sound companies, Grahame Pells for his drums, our First Aid and security companies.
Our grateful thanks to our volunteers, who help set up, work on the day of the event and help to remove everything and leave the castle with no sign of our presence.
🎄Coity Festivals wishes everyone a Happy Christmas 🎁and a peaceful 2026 🎆🎇 We hope to be back for 2026.
