It’s our anniversary. Without this marriage, coggeshall catering company wouldn’t be thing.
We don’t go big on anniversary’s but a small token for the symbol of the what year it is. For us, this year was 7 years.. “copper” so Adam received a bottle of copper house gin, and Sarah received beautiful, engraved copper bracelets.
What’s your “to do” with anniversaries? Any tips for our newlyweds?

It is May!

Wowsers what a couple of months it has been.
Apologies there have been no recent social media posts. We had to take a step back and just focus on the weddings and events as well as our family and ourselves. You may have seen we lost someone close to us, followed by our youngest breaking her arm and needing surgery! It’s been a rollercoaster! But, our team have been amazing, supported us, and all events have gone as amazingly as always!
Massive thank you to everyone for checking in and seeing how we are doing! It’s all so appreciated and kind.

Now.. we are getting back to the social media swing and have lots to share, including some amazing fusion themed weddings.. these always allow us to experiment and we just love it!

These wonderful people Stock Street Farm Barn gave us the strength to continue during Covid. They also brought moments of joy into what was a very bleak time. We are forever grateful and will always support these wonderful folks!

We were the only venue locally able and willing to safely serve those in the community that wanted to "get out" during some of the COVID 19 restrictions. (We also helped caterers, comics, musicians, brewers and it may have been Stock Street's finest hour - ever - in over 400 years).

Corporate catering.
Studies have proven that supplying your team with food cannot only boost morale, but also improve productivity….. sounds like a win win to us!
Employees have said they feel more valued when food is supplied. This doesn’t have to happen weekly, or monthly, but perhaps an every now and then treat.
Your team members, and potentially your turnover will be thankful you did!

Hello February
Hopefully the season where you can see spring starting to peak round the corner.
After a “sort and clear” January, February for us is when we start edging towards wedding season. It’s the month where I think, everyone is feeling more into the swing of things and after all those initial January enquiries people are wanting to cement their event dates. We have plenty of tasting evenings booked in.
This month we plan to finally finish our hog roast horse box, and to assess the preparation needed for our “sweet treats” trailer… lots of exciting things ahead.
Of course we can’t pass February by without mentioning possibly one of the romantic days of the year… valentines!! Will this be the month when you stop calling your significant other “partner” to replace with Fiancé??
