For many South Africans, a Cheese Griller in a fresh roll with tomato sauce wasn’t just lunch — it was a childhood memory.

Ordering your gem squash is easy:

2️⃣ Choose how you would like to receive your order as in collection from Cobham (no postage) Or to be sent out where you pay postage

Collection from our Cobham shop: Select the collection option at checkout, and you will not be charged postage. We will contact you for delivery when they arrive.

Delivery: If you choose postage and pay for delivery, your order will be sent to you once the gem squash arrives at the end of August.

You can order as many as you would like, subject to availability.

If you’ve been looking for Mrs Ball’s Chutney recently, you may have noticed that it’s been rather difficult to find in some shops.

There’s currently a shortage affecting availability, with supply and distribution issues making it harder for some retailers to get hold of stock. And let’s be honest… for South Africans, running out of Mrs Ball’s is not a small problem. 😄

Fortunately, Billytong has managed to secure a large amount of stock for collection from our shop in Cobham.

And before anyone asks — no, we haven’t increased the price because it’s harder to find. We don’t believe in price gouging. 🇿🇦

So if your pantry is looking a little nervous without its Mrs Ball’s, you know where to find us

🧀 THE TASTE OF HOME: CHEESE GRILLERS & CHILDHOOD MEMORIES 🇿🇦
When I was younger, cheese grillers were one of my favourite things.
Nothing fancy. Just a cheese griller in a soft roll, covered in tomato sauce. And somehow, it was absolutely perfect. 😄
