Met old friends, made new ones

According to USA today, behind military services, medical practictioners, airline pilots and police officers, event management is the 5th most stressful industry in the world

Quick thought though...

All of the above receive rigorous training in order to prepare for their careers, we in events are all told to volunteer as a starting point

For me volunteering is quickly becoming the disparity in the industry globally, even as an MSc with 20+ years experience I still get the old "we can't pay you but we can give you experience" chat

Final thought... time to pay the piper 💰
