The Old School Rooms is a multi purpose venue for all occasions. As well as our bar, we have a fantastic function room that can be hired for all occasions, day or night. Fully licensed bar and in house catering available, we accommodate weddings, funerals, birthdays, christenings - you name it, we've probably done it! 🧥GIVE A COAT. SHARE A LITTLE WARMTH🧣

As the nights draw in and the temperatures start to drop, we’re asking our lovely Old School Rooms community to help us spread a little warmth this winter. ❤️

We’re proud to be supporting Wrap Up UK, and from now until Wednesday 21st October, we’re collecting warm winter clothing for people who need it most.

🧶 Woolly hats

For everyone — men, women, children and even the tiniest babies. All ages, all sizes, all genders.

Because while most of us can head home, turn up the heating and wrap ourselves up against the cold, not everyone has that luxury.

💔 Somewhere, there’s a mum worrying about how she’ll keep her little one warm. Someone sleeping rough facing another freezing night. A family starting over with little more than the clothes on their backs.

We’re giving something new a little trial run at The Old School Rooms…

Roasted aubergine, spiced lamb, cooling Greek yoghurt, tomato emulsion & fresh herbs.

It’s joining our small plates menu, so chuck it into your usual mix, share it with the table… or guard it with your life. We don’t judge. 😏

But here’s the important bit — should it stay?

🍻 Well, look who popped in…

The lovely lot at The Great British Pub Crawl paid us a visit on their mission to drink their way around Britain’s pubs — tough job, but someone’s got to do it. 😂🍺

We’re rather chuffed to have made it onto the crawl and even more pleased they enjoyed their stop at The Old School Rooms.

We’re big believers that the best pubs are about more than just what’s on the bar — they’re about good people, good conversation, a bit of character and having somewhere you actually want to settle in for a while.

A huge thank you to The Great British Pub Crawl for stopping by, for the lovely words and for championing Britain’s pubs along the way. ❤️

Now, how do we apply for the job of travelling around the country drinking in pubs…? Asking for the staff. 👀🍻

When we decided to introduce food at The Old School Rooms, we wanted it to feel just like the rest of the bar – relaxed, sociable and somewhere you could settle in for hours with good company, great drinks and plates made for sharing.
