INFORMATION POST !
We are so very excited to welcome you all to Beachside Comic Con!
Preparations are well underway here at LUXX and our team are making all the necessary Preparations to bring you another amazing weekend event !
The Guy in red would like to make a few announcements.... so .... here it goes ...
*Online Tickets go off sale tomorrow night a 12pm GBT time , so quick ... best get them .... ahhhh but don't worry On the Door tickets will be available both days from 10.30am i know AMAZING right!
*Please note that when arriving those with pre booked tickets will have a separate que for checking in, one of our team / Security and also Sign posting will be there to help guide you. , yada yada yda yada... you get the picture ....
*The Leisure centre is fully accessible, if you require any assistance at all please don't hesitate in finding a member of team, they will be more than happy to help in anyway they possibly can.
* The leisure centre will still be operational and so all ticket holders will be given wristbands/hand stamp to allow them entry in and out of the event, because were nice like that and like to give you little momentos of the day ❤️
* Sundays Mermaid swim session can be accessed via the leisure centre with your comic con ticket, you will require your very own dapper swim wear!
*For those who require it Lockers and Changing room facilities are available within the leisure centre, please see leisure centre reception for this, because who doesn't like a costume change !
*Autos and Photos can also be purchased on the day at the information desk once in the venue, I too am also available , just saying ....
*For any further information, Lost Children , First Aid or any other queries please make sure you speak to a member of Management at the Information stand inside the venue.
SECURITY ! (oh no)
We have a fabulous team who will be with us the weekend to make sure that all attendees , guests and all those involved stay safe whilst with us .
We take the safety of our visitors very seriously. Please co-operate fully with any security checks and support our lovely, approachable Security team as they carry out their checks throughout the day. Our lovely Security team will monitor the venue each and every day , (p.s its not the X-Men... unfortuantly ... god i miss those guys ...anywho...)
Security is everyone's responsibility, so please help us keep you safe by reporting anything that doesn't feel right to our Security and staffing teams. We will always act on your concerns.
Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of other visitors. random bag Searching and Cosplay Prop inspection will be carried out throughout the weekend. Consideration regarding Cosplay props is extremely important, so please keep this in mind.
REMEMBER ALSO COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT! - NOT COOL!
Always ask before taking photos or if you would like to interact with other fellow cosplayers , this one time ... oh man ... it was not a good day , but i digress....
There is to be no alcohol permitted into the venue
Anyone found to be in possession of anything Illegal will be refused entry into the venue, and will be reported to the Police as a matter of urgency.
