Berry Farm Cotswolds

Berry Farm Cotswolds Together with our son Zachary, we are the fourth generation of family to live at Berry Farm.

Berry Farm is located on the outskirts of the thriving village of South Cerney nestled in the Southern Cotswolds a few miles from Cirencester and within the Cotswold Water Park We both spent much of our childhoods on our family farms and returned here after studying in Devon & living in the the New Forest for a number of years. We came with a vision to restore the farm and we relish the opportunit

y to be able to bring our son up in an environment where he has the freedom to run, explore and learn.

Today is ‘World Food Day’ an international day celebrated every year worldwide on October 16 to commemorate the date of the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945.

It’s wonderful to be able to celebrate all we do on the farm to give the farm to fork experience and to educate about where our food comes from.

It’s also a day to reflect and consider those who do not have ready access to food. The World Food Programme is an international organization within the United Nations that provides food assistance worldwide.

More locally we have fantastic charities like the who create delicious meals from local produce. They take down the barriers to access good food by actively encouraging those who can, to pay a meal forward so there is a place at the table for all ⭐️

We got so much love on our sloe picking story we thought we would share us making our sloe gin this year!

It’s super easy and a great one for gifting if you make it NOW! The longer you can leave it the better the flavour 😉
