Berry Farm Cotswolds

Berry Farm Cotswolds Together with our son Zachary, we are the fourth generation of family to live at Berry Farm.

Berry Farm is located on the outskirts of the thriving village of South Cerney nestled in the Southern Cotswolds a few miles from Cirencester and within the Cotswold Water Park We both spent much of our childhoods on our family farms and returned here after studying in Devon & living in the the New Forest for a number of years. We came with a vision to restore the farm and we relish the opportunit

y to be able to bring our son up in an environment where he has the freedom to run, explore and learn.

🌿AUGUST EVENTS🌿
The last month of summer and the depth of the school holidays is always a quieter month on the farm when it comes to our events - but the quality of this lovely circles and sound baths will make up for it! And if the kids are wanting to do something a little different, there are still spaces available on the brilliant The Kitchen Club - Educator, Nutritionist, Caterer and Cook cookery workshop next Wednesday - we’d love to see your children there!

July ~ part two

Having family living so far away is tough as I’m sure many of you know. So we couldn’t go to New Zealand & not visit Australia too, it would have been crazy!! Not least because we could also catch up with some of our oldest friends as well as family.

We hired a car from Sydney (No Birds) which are super reasonable & straightforward to deal with. The roads are much quieter than the UK too (albeit they have a slower speed limit & no big motorways).

We had the best time seeing everyone, relaxing & also being shown around some great sights by my wonderful sister Emma.

Although we went in the Australian winter we were really lucky and enjoyed sunshine everyday. Yes we might have had to layer up a bit when we went into the mountains but otherwise it was shorts & t-shirt.

Feel so lucky to have made these memories with our little family and grateful to everyone that supported us with life at home to allow us to spend an extended time away 🄰

July ~ part one

What an amazing month you were. New work opportunities, wonderful celebrations & special family time.
We had a very very busy June, both with work & other commitments which meant we were so ready to get off the hamster wheel once school was out in July.

We decided to make the most of getting away early as our eldest had finished his GCSE’s mid June.

We have family in both New Zealand and Australia so it felt the right year to make a big trip and go and see them all.

This post is only half of July as I could only upload 20 Pictures! I will do the second half soon showing where we went in Australia.

In celebration of the best sister (mother & daughter) on .
47 years of Loving you

We may live more than 10,000 miles apart and don’t get to share those special moments or the opportunity to grab a coffee or lunch together very often but that won’t break our special bond.

Something magic happened on the farm yesterday. ✨

We gathered to celebrate the Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year and a moment to pause, reflect and reconnect.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of calm anticipation. The farm, with its birds in abundance and open spaces provided the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to wellbeing and connection. As the sun climbed higher in the sky, so too did a feeling of warmth and community among those who had come together.

Throughout the day, we shared experiences that invited us to slow down and be present. Gentle movement, mindful practices, nourishing food and moments of quiet reflection encouraged everyone to step away from the demands of everyday life and simply ā€˜be’. There was laughter, conversation, learning and, perhaps most importantly, space to breathe.

One of the greatest joys of hosting these retreats is witnessing strangers become friends. Conversations flowed easily, stories were shared, and a sense of belonging emerged that reminded us all how important human connection is. In a world that often feels hurried and noisy, creating a space where people can gather authentically feels more valuable than ever.

As the day drew to a close, there was a sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the sunshine, for the beautiful setting and for the wonderful practitioners who shared their expertise, thanks to Charlotte, Rachel & Kirsteen as well Paula and every guest who chose to spend their day with us.

Your openness, kindness and enthusiasm helped create something truly special.

Until next time šŸ™šŸ¼

What goes into making the farm ready for a retreat day?

Come with me for a little snippet of the preparation!

It’s ironic that I never make it to a PT class these days… BUT as you can see I’m always getting my gym workout in different ways šŸ˜†

We love hosting retreats, wellness days and can help you incorporate any type of wellness into your corporate away days. Your options are endless with all of our spaces šŸ˜‰

As farming fortnight comes to a close we wanted to reflect on how much we have achieved here in the last 20 years.

Moving back to the family farm as a newly married couple was exciting and we came with boundless energy and ideas!

As the years rolled by and our family grew we knew diversifying was key.

So as custodians of this magical place we are proud and lucky to call home, we hope all who experience the aura and calm love it as much as we do. 🌱 🌼 šŸ‘
