**All weddings are different........

And everyone deserves beautiful memories captured! Small weddings, elopement, big weddings, budget weddings, extravagant weddings! These are just a handful of weddings I covered last year, all very different, all beautifully unique and all chose to put photography as one of their priorities to ensure they had beautiful memories ❤️

**Weddings aren't boring!**

I have seen a video today from a publication complaining that all weddings are getting boring! They really aren't! I would question how many weddings a magazine editor actually goes to and how many they just see on social media - where ironically they are complaining that everyone's weddings look the same because of!

I go to more weddings than the average person, and yes occasionally a bit of decor or colour scheme is similar BUT they aren't boring. People are different, families are different and more and more I am finding people are being brave enough to throw away tradition for traditions sake and do exactly what they want!

So as I have said for years, you do you! If you want a traditional wedding with all the traditional trimmings, bloody well do it!! If you want to suprise your friends and family by taking them for a walk to blow the hangover away and end up getting married at the top of the hill in wellies and wax jackets.......do that too!! Weddings are never boring because your love stories are always different ❤️❤️❤️❤️

**Ardington House**

One of my favourite venues! I have always been so lucky and had the most fantastic couples there, the venue is stunning and the caterers are wonderful! Was so honoured to capture Katy and Josh's big day there ❤️

Being exclusive use for the whole weekend means there is always the most wonderful intimate atmosphere at Ardington and I always have the best days there being looked after by their staff alongside the fantastic Fingers & Forks - Catering & Events

**Goodbye 2024**

As the Christmas trees come down and some.kind of normality returns it's time to say goodbye 2024. We had a funny old year as a family with lots of good and a load of not so good! But we got to finally have our dream wedding ourselves and watching the kids do their bits at the wedding made us so so proud!

2025 brings another funny old mix, we have our holiday of a lifetime to look forward to when we take all 3 kids to Thailand, Vietnam and Borneo on the way to visiting friends in Brunei! But we also have some family members with health issues and big changes happening so I am sure those situations will bring some challenges.

Whatever your 2025 is bringing I wish you every luck, health abd happiness ❤️

Not a cake fan - have some cheese! My biggest tip for any wedding planning is to make it special for you, if you don't like dancing, you don't have to do a first dance! If you don't like cake, you don't have to have cake - make your whole day personal to you and it will always feel unique and magical!
