People often ask why I’ve got 26TB of storage in my editing computer… and that’s before the cloud backups. 😅

This photo is the answer.

That’s almost 1TB of footage from just two weddings.

Every wedding I film is captured across multiple cameras, professional audio recorders and drone footage. Then everything is backed up, copied and stored again because once a wedding day is over, there are no retakes.

🎬 Behind The Scenes | Part 3 of 3

The final part of this behind the scenes series from Abbie and Tyler’s wedding in Perranporth, Cornwall.

This video shows part of my camera setup for the speeches, along with a few glimpses from what turned into an incredible evening.

After a day of strong winds and unpredictable weather, everything finally came together. The wind eased, the sun appeared, and we were able to head down to the beach to capture some stunning footage. We even managed to get the drone into the air for some amazing aerial shots along the Cornish coastline.

It was the perfect ending to a fantastic day, and I can’t wait to deliver the finished film to Abbie and Tyler.

🎬 Behind The Scenes | Part 2 of 3

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of filming Abbie and Tyler’s beautiful wedding in Perranporth, Cornwall.

In this part of the day, I take a look around the ceremony space, work out the best camera positions, and make sure everything is ready before guests arrive.

With strong winds throughout the day, I also headed down to the beach to capture some exterior footage and backup shots, just in case the conditions meant the drone couldn’t fly later on.

A lot of the work that goes into creating a wedding film happens before the ceremony even begins, and this video gives a little glimpse behind the scenes.

🎬 Behind The Scenes | Part 1 of 3

Yesterday I had the pleasure of filming a beautiful wedding in Perranporth, Cornwall.

This first behind the scenes video gives you a glimpse of the journey, the scenery, and some of the preparation that goes into capturing a wedding film.

What started as a wet and windy day soon turned into a stunning evening, with incredible coastal views and a perfect sunset to end the day. At one point we were filming on top of a cliff with winds reaching around 55mph, which definitely made things interesting and added an extra challenge to the day!

What an incredible day celebrating the wedding of Tom and Alicia at the beautiful Hawkwell House in Oxford. ❤️

From the emotional ceremony to the laughter, smiles and unforgettable moments throughout the day, it was a real pleasure to capture their wedding story on film.

This highlight film brings together some of the best moments from their special day and gives a glimpse into the love, happiness and atmosphere that made it so memorable.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of filming Rosie & George’s beautiful wedding, starting with a lovely ceremony at St Bartholomew’s Church in Areley Kings before heading over to The Holt Fleet in Worcester for the reception.

I’ve put together a behind the scenes video showing how I approach a wedding day, including my camera setup, how I position my equipment throughout the ceremony and reception, and a few sneak peeks of some of the footage captured during the day.

A huge thank you to Joey for coming along and helping out. Having an extra pair of hands made a massive difference, and I’m looking forward to seeing some of the great shots he captured.

Now it’s time to start going through all the footage and putting together a beautiful wedding film for Rosie & George to enjoy for years to come.

What an incredible day filming Rosie and George’s wedding today.

A beautiful church ceremony, followed by a fantastic reception surrounded by family and friends. Thank you both for trusting me to capture your special day. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of it, and I can’t wait to start putting everything together into a film you’ll be able to look back on for years to come.

A huge thank you as well to Joey for coming along and helping throughout the day. Your support was massively appreciated, and I’m looking forward to seeing all of the amazing footage you’ve captured.

Now it’s time to back up the footage, grab a well earned rest, and start the editing process.

What a beautiful day for a wedding! ☀️

Today I’m filming Rosie and George’s wedding at St Bartholomew’s Church in Areley Kings.

I’ve already been out capturing plenty of establishing shots of the venue, along with some drone footage while the weather is on our side. The church and surrounding grounds look absolutely stunning in the sunshine.

Right now it’s a waiting game. The groom is due to arrive in around 10 minutes, with the bride expected about 45 minutes after that. Then the real magic begins.

Looking forward to capturing every moment of their special day and creating something they can look back on for years to come.
