A bit of rain won’t stop us.
ONLY ONE DAY TO GO 🎸🎸☔️☔️🎸

At Cindyfest on Sunday, 30 August 2026, Jer Holland, Town Crier, will lead a special moment of applause in memory of Derran “Derry” Brownson of EMF at approximately 9:00pm.

Derry was a much-loved member of both the music community and the wider Cinderford community. We hope to come together to celebrate his life, his music, and the many memories he helped create.

Everyone attending Cindyfest is warmly invited to join us in giving Derry a one-minute round of applause. 👏❤️

As a further celebration of the music that Derry and EMF brought to so many people, music from EMF will be played between performances by local acts throughout the day, alongside music from Dolly Parton.

We hope you will join us in remembering and celebrating Derry's life and the legacy he has left us all.

There’s still time to get yourself a Cindyfest sign. Only one week to go 🎵🎼🎶🎸🎼🎸

With Cindyfest 26 rapidly approaching we’d like to take a minute to remember last year’s event.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends of EMFs Derry who sadly passed away last week.
It was so good to see EMF performing in Cinderford again. You helped create a community event which will be hard to ever beat.

A massive thankyou also to all the bands and volunteers who helped make Cindyfest 2025 massive.

Please feel free to share any photos you have from last year.
