Saturday saw Jess and Simon getting married at the stunningly beautiful

Jess wanted nuteral tones so we a selection of roses included Mondial, quicksand, mocochina and avalanche roses with peonies and mixed foliage. It smelt so so good!

And just like that we are finalists for the North West wedding awards which are solely voted for by past couples. To say I'm a little overwhelmed and happy is an understatement. Looking forward to the awards night next month 🥂

Bridesmaids & groomsmen were traditionally used to protect from vengeful spirits and presences. They would usually dress similar to the bride and groom to confuse jealous suitors who would be willing to harm the couple.

I love how old traditions find a new meanings a modern world.

What's the craziest things you've learnt whilst planning, or even better what bizarre task were you given for the day as a bridesmaid?

Aside from spilling red wine on the sister in law for wearing a cream dress 😬
