Dear Neighbours,

Our beloved Village Hall has long been a space where we gather, celebrate, connect, and support one another. From quiz nights to coffee mornings, craft fairs to community meetings – it's where the spirit of our village truly comes to life.

But we need your help to keep it going.

The current committee is doing all it can, but we warmly welcome any assistance – whether it's helping to run events, sharing ideas for new activities, or lending a hand with administrative roles on the committee.

We’re also in real need of volunteers who can help with the setting up and clearing away at public events. Many hands make light work – and every bit of help counts!

It’s important to remember: the Village Hall exists for you – the community. Without enough willing volunteers, we risk losing this vital facility altogether. That’s not something any of us want to see happen.

If you can spare even a small amount of time or energy, we’d love to hear from you. Your involvement, no matter how big or small, helps keep our village connected and thriving.

So, the clearance sale last weekend didn't get the interest we hoped for and because the hall committee are very keen to get all the old stuff out to make way for all the lovely new stuff, a selection of items are now listed on FB Marketplace.
Items have been grouped into mixed lots for at little as £1. Many items would be ideal for community projects, small cafes or upcycling.
