Merriscourt, situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, is an elegant choice of venue for weddings, private parties or corporate events.

As featured in Brides Magazine’s Top 100 Wedding Venues, Merriscourt is an exclusive choice of venue for the perfect wedding in a stylish, rural setting. Privately owned by Tom Astor, and forming part of the Bruern Estate, Merriscourt is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. Proudly ‘off the beaten track' yet conveniently located for accommodation and transport links to London, Merriscourt boasts two stunning airy interconnected barns with adjoining Gallery centering on a south facing Cotswold stone courtyard creating a wonderful sense of space and light. Merriscourt is fully licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships and these are conducted in the tranquil setting of the Stone Barn. After the ceremony the wedding party can move to the sunny Courtyard, Gallery or Gallery lawn for a ch*****ne and canapé reception. The lime-washed White Barn with seating for up to 150 guests enables the wedding celebrations to progress smoothly and seamlessly from dinner through to dancing. The versatile layout and personal ambience allows you and your guests to simply relax and enjoy the day's proceedings in one setting.

🏆 HERE WE GO AGAIN… TWIA 2027! 🏆

Last year you lovely lot helped us win TWIA Regional Best Barn Wedding Venue AND somehow make it all the way to the National Finals 🥹❤️

So obviously… we’re doing it all over again 🤣🤞🏻

Merriscourt is officially entered into The Wedding Industry Awards 2027 for Best Barn Wedding Venue!

If you got married with us between 1st October 2025 and Sunday 27th September 2026, you’re eligible to vote; and all of our eligible couples should now have an email from us containing your voting link 💌

Voting closes at 5pm on Monday 28th September and there’s one vote per couple.

If you loved your wedding day with us, we would be SO ridiculously grateful if you could spare a few minutes to vote for Merriscourt 🥹

Guys, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows… 🌈

Us, trying to convince ourselves that wedding days are hard work…

And then along comes a day like Alex & Clare’s 🤍✨

The truth is, we get to spend our weekends surrounded by love, laughter, brilliant people and some pretty incredible celebrations.

There are spreadsheets, timelines and plenty of behind-the-scenes logistics, of course… but moments like these are exactly why we love what we do.
