Each ceremony I create is unique to my couple and I’m so excited about tomorrow’s beautiful celebrations at the bride’s family home in Wiltshire. They are hosting a festival weekend for family and friends and on Saturday we are celebrating their marriage.
As a nod to the groom’s Scottish roots we are including a hand fasting ceremony, where the ribbons will be bound by their close family and friends whilst M&G exchange their vows. They both love the poet Len Pennie (she’s awesome - check her out!) and she has kindly agreed that we can include her beautiful poem ‘The Vow’, which will be read by a dear friend before M&G tie their marriage knot.
The ceremony will close with a toast with the Quaich- a traditional Scottish two handled cup of love and friendship. My lovely couple will toast themselves, their family and friends.
There’s a lot going on, so we’re rehearsing this evening, meaning everything will be perfect tomorrow 💕

I’m excited by the changes that have been recommended and I’ve had my say in the government consultation. I agree that independent celebrants should be allowed to conduct legal ceremonies. I agree to a framework championing meaningful and personalised ceremony content, delivered in a dignified way. I agree to recognised training and qualifications to improve and raise standards. Wedding season is in full swing and so it won’t be long until it’s time to start judging for the 2027 Celebrating wedding professionals around the uk. Here’s a quick look back to the south west regional finals which were held last November - such a fantastic evening!

Yesterday was just gorgeous at Hadsham Farm. A&N completed their wedding paperwork in the morning, so they could relax and have a truly personal ceremony conducted by me in the afternoon. They hired Hadsham for three days so they could enjoy quality time with their family and friends. It’s such a gorgeous place 💕 perfect for two nature-lovers like them! What a dream!! I can’t wait to see the professional photos from - so lovely to work with him again ☺️ farm.weddings moody.mare.events
