It’s the little things that make such a huge difference. I absolutely loved this mirrored welcome board at Emily & Jake’s wedding celebrations in August. It was positioned so guests arriving could do a quick check before heading into the gorgeous Worton Kitchen Garden. More importantly, it was there for Emily and her wonderful bridesmaids so that they could do last minute prep before walking down the aisle.

The wedding planning season has well and truly commenced and I can’t wait to meet with one of my lovely couples next Tuesday evening to start planning their beautiful ceremony at The Ridgeway Barns in April 2027 💕 where every wedding leads to smiles like this! I’ve been to some fantastic places this summer to celebrate love, life and happiness with the most amazing people! From family homes to museums. The event space at St Peter’s Church was particularly exciting because it was the first celebrant-led ceremony held there and right on my doorstep!
Looking ahead to the proposed marriage law changes, couples will have the option of choosing places like these to host a personal and dignified ceremony to reflect them. How exciting will that be 😃
Remember to have your say on the government ‘Tying the Knot’ consultation about where people can get married, how this will happen and who will lead their ceremony. Big changes are coming and you can be part of it!

Conducting ceremonies at your home is such a personal and privileged thing to do and M&Js was no exception. Such a fantastic day when we celebrated two families coming together through the love of two gorgeous individuals. Readings were chosen and shared with great care. The vows brought a tear to everyone’s eyes. We had a hand fasting, the Quaich and flying ch*****ne corks 🍾

September is here, let the wedding planning commence! Next weekend is the Cotswold Wedfest Fair at Cokethorpe, which was awesome last year.
