Adventure Quests

The second of our new quests is all about doing good!

A quest for good has the believers getting the Good-o-Meter out of the Ho Ho H-Only ok zone and back into the merry and magical zone!

By finding all the pages of the good deeds manual and completing the good deeds we will boost Christmas spirit!

Let’s do good!

Introducing the first of our 3 new quests!

Snow Storm Disaster! ❄️

Through the quest we are introduced to 5 elves at the North Pole that we must help!

Each elf comes with their elf ID card, a puzzle and activity that we must complete to save Christmas!

It’s the 1st October!

Which means it’s exactly one month later than I usually start talking about the ‘C’ word! That word being Christmas!

But as all the parents out there know, it has to start being mentioned at some point… first in hushed whispers, then in discreet side convos, until it finally becomes something we talk about for months!

Anyway… I’m excited to share that this year AQ will be releasing NOT 1, NOT 2 BUT 3 (yes 3!) new Christmas Quests!

The approach this year will be a little different too… I want this year to be the product testing year!

ALL of my quests will be subjected to testing and I want feedback!

2 of the 3 news quests are live and I’ll be sharing more on them really soon!

Head over to www.adventure-quests.com to see more!

Adventure Quests came about after writing several for my son and his friends to enjoy. I wanted to create something that allowed the children to immerse themselves in a theme and engage their imaginations.

Well what a speltastic time I had today at Pebworth Party in the Park!

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side and 2 of the 3 quests experienced quite a bit of rain but we powered through!

Thank you to all the witches and wizards who attended and thank you to the organisers for having me!

In just over a weeks time Adventure Quests will be hosting 3 back to back quests at Pebworth Party in the Park!

This will be my first community event since moving back to England and I’m really excited to be hosting a Wizards First Day…

Where budding wizards are welcomed into a wizarding school, undertake lessons in potions, charms and flying before they must use their new skills to defeat an evil
Wizard!

Back at it again… but it’s JULY!!!

Christmas quests wait for no one…

People often ask how my adventures are created… every story starts as pages of notes, plot ideas and puzzle concepts before becoming a finished Christmas Quest.

This year so far I’ve been working on my Christmas Adventures (yes you read that right) for a month already!

So here I am today - 9.30pm pulling together a concept doc for a new quest!

I loved being back out there on Saturday, sailing the 7 seas!

But here are a few pics from the day… Post quest rest behind some crates 🏴‍☠️, piecing together our treasure 🪎map, a headless outfit pic 💃🏼 (In my dress rehearsal I couldn’t get both my hair and costume looking good - hence the headless outfit pic!) and some brilliantly decorated boats ⛵️that allowed us to sail to our treasure island!

Next up we have my little boys mash up party! 🥰

It’s been a long while since I last posted… we have now moved back to England and bought our first home so things have been a bit busy!

But, I’m excited to say that Captain Cutlass is ready to be back at it today, recruiting a new pirate crew and finding sparkle beards long lost treasure!
