This week has been pretty **W I L D**... 🦁🦓🐆🐊

We’ve had an incredible time bringing our retro Longleat Jeep installation to life at ! 🚙✨

Created as part of Longleat’s **Summer celebrations** and **60th Anniversary**, this larger-than-life photo opportunity is now live and ready for visitors to enjoy 🦏📸

From the initial design through to the build and final installation, it’s been a brilliant project to be part of. And, of course, we couldn’t resist saying hello to a few of the cheeky residents along the way... 🦛👋

THIS SATURDAY! Chippenham Carnival returns and we can’t wait! The Melt Bars team will also be serving up deliciously cold drinks in The Dome on Island Park.

Another fun, free and inclusive event to come to our wonderful town! ☀️ 🍻 🫶🏼

📣 Chippenham Carnival returns this Saturday (4th July) bringing a packed day of entertainment and family fun to the town centre. 🎉

Festivities begin at 2pm when the Mayor officially opens the Carnival Village in Island Park. Visitors can enjoy live music and performances throughout the afternoon, along with food and drink vendors, stalls and also take part in the window spotting competition taking place across the town centre.

Jennings Fairground will be in Monkton Park, adding to what promises to be a fantastic day for all ages.

The highlight of the day will be the carnival procession, featuring more than 300 participants. The procession leaves Wiltshire College on Cocklebury Road at 5.30pm, travelling through the town centre before returning to Island Park, where celebrations will continue until 8.30pm.

As well as enjoying the celebrations, visitors are encouraged to bring some loose change for the official charity bucket collection. Funds raised will support Doorway Wiltshire, Chippenham Foodbank and the Chippenham Carnival Fund.

A huge thank you goes to the incredible volunteers who have spent months working to bring the carnival back to Chippenham. From planning and fundraising to marshalling and supporting activities on the day, this event simply wouldn’t happen without you. We think you are amazing! 💜

🤘 We are excited to announce that we have partnered with The Ruze who will be supporting with our stage management and music entertainment through the day. This is further commitment to working with local businesses to make the Chippenham Carnival a truly local affair. The powerhouse of Melt Productions and The Ruze teams should provide a solid day of entertainment in the park. 🤘

Another project we worked on for our friends over at 🐯🌿🎈🎂🪴

As part of their 60th Anniversary celebrations, they wanted to offer visitors the opportunity to get stuck in with some giant, themed Garden Games…

So we got our thinking caps on and created the following…

Guess The Animal: A take on the classic ‘Guess Who’ game, where players have to guess the animal by asking questions that can only be with “yes” or “no” 🦒 🦁

Animal Print Dominoes: Handcrafted and painted by our team, the Zebra 🦓 and Tiger 🐅 stripes represent the numbers you would find on a classic Dominoes set, that also came with their own handmade box.

Feeding Time Co****le: Designed and built by us, the Lion 🦁 and the Hippo 🦛 are ready and waiting for their dinner! 🥩 🍃

Animal Print 4 In A Row: A take on the classic game, featuring gorgeous printed disks to play with.

What an EGGCELLENT EASTER trail that was!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our first Easter Egg Trail with Melt Productions. It has been great fun for us to see so many people enjoy the trail and decipher the Easter phrase. Did you guess it correctly?

The winner of the Easter hamper has been contacted and will collect their prize from Customer Services at the Town Hall.

Did you crack the Easter Bunny’s code? 🥚🐰

We designed, built and delivered 16 handmade giant eggs across Chippenham for the town to enjoy in collaboration with Chippenham Town Council 🐣

Visitors big and small followed the map to find the eggs and attempt to discover the hidden words… 🕵️‍♀️

Each participant received their own chocolatey treat as well as being entered into a prize draw to win an Easter hamper! 🍫

We hope everyone that took part had an EGGCELLENT EASTER! 🌷
