Not the most appealing of post, but a teeny tiny part from behind the scenes.
This little thimble, I believe to be Victorian? Was found by my mum and dad and given to me on my graduation day.
This simple piece of silver represents so much more to me than just being a sewing aid, it’s about the achievement, the gruelling hours and hard work that has all paid off and got me where I am today.
I’ve also always wondered what little shops or studios it was used in before it became mine… 🪡
It’ll forever stay safe in my box of random haberdashery goodies where other cherished pieces stay. It’s a little too precious for everyday use 🤍
