✨ A Little Note About Using Sites Like Bark & Add to Event ✨

Hey lovely humans! If you're in the middle of planning your big day and using platforms like Bark or Add to Event to find your dream suppliers - amazing! These sites can be super handy for connecting you with talented vendors in your area (and some of my gorgeous clients found me that way 🫶)

But here’s a little behind-the-scenes insight you might not know: vendors usually have to pay to respond to your enquiry. That means every time we send a quote, we’re investing in the hope of working with you.

We totally get that plans change, quotes might not be the right fit, or you might go with someone else - that's all part of the process! But if you’re not seriously looking, or don’t intend to respond to the quotes, it can really impact small businesses who are just trying to keep doing what they love.

So if you do use these platforms, a quick reply (even just a “Thanks, but we’ve gone another way!”) goes a long way. It’s never about taking things personally - we just really appreciate the kindness and clarity.

Thanks for supporting small wedding businesses 💛 We’re all here to make your day magical!

(And if you're a newbie vendor doing fake events for market research - just don't. Google it okay! 😘 ✌️)

🌈✨ Indie’s Naming Day ✨🌈

Last week, I had the absolute joy of leading a beautiful naming ceremony for the awesome little lady that is Indie 💛

With her proud parents Mark & Ellie (thank you so much for letting me share these pics!), her kick-ass guide parents, and a garden full of Indies favourite people and some floofy four-legged guests 🐾 — it was the perfect mix of meaningful and magical.

We had:
🌿 A sand blending
🖐️ Finger, paw and foot prints on the certificate
📖 A heartfelt guide parent storybook reading
👶 And a surprise pregnancy reveal that had everyone stunned before the happy tears set in! 😭💫

There were giggles, sniffles, snuggles and a little sprinkle of rain — but nothing could dampen the love in that garden.

I had the best time working with this gorgeous little family. Indie, you're already so loved 💕

From college friends to soulmates — Happy 2nd anniversary, Abbey & Dave! 🥂

There’s something truly special about saying “I do” with the sea as your witness.

Shauna and Pete’s intimate ceremony at the Ocean Point Gazebo at Royalton Negril, Jamaica, was small but packed full of love and laughter.

From the beer boys and Pete’s entrance, to the cutest bridesmaids and ring bearer, and even a secret poll to decide who’d say their personal vows first — this day was nonstop Shauna and Pete from start to finish.

After a tropical rainstorm the day before, the sun came back in full force, along with a rather strong sea breeze. Big shoutout to Stacey Clarke - Kelly our photographer, for not only catching these pics and video clips, but for also coming to my rescue with safety pins and stopping everyone from getting more of a view than expected!

But even with the wind, nothing could steal the spotlight from the love between these two.

An unforgettable day, wrapped in sunshine, laughter, and the magic of the ocean.

I always think that one of the greatest compliments ever is when someone I've just met says they can see that I adore being a celebrant — because I truly, truly do 💛

🍹 Out of Office-ish 🍹

Logging off and getting ready to soak up the sunshine in Jamaica with my family —and I'll be doing a beautiful little ceremony while I’m there! Ceremonies and cocktails, vows and views. What could be more perfect?

I’ll be a little slower on replies until 24th April, but I’ll be back soon, recharged and ready to go!
