Today at midday, come and raise a celebratory glass of fizz for 175 years of the Chiddingfold Horticultural Society and see who will be taking home some of this silverware! 🏆 🙌

On Saturday this weekend we are looking forward to welcoming Chiddingfold Horticultural Society for their 175th Show! This Autumn show has some opportunities for entries from the community, namely in the baking and arts (children's entries). So if you fancy yourself a Mary Berry or Prue Leith, then get your oven heated up! 🎂 🍪 🥠 and if your kids need no encourage to get out their pens and pencils, then this is for them!

Details of the divisions can be found in the pictures attached.

Booking for entries is on Friday evening 7-30 to 8-15 pm at the Village Hall; that's when you pop in and register your entry. And then bring your exhibits down on Saturday from 8-00 to 9-45 am.

It's a fun experience and a great way to support this historic Society!

Further to our May AGM - Caroline (Carrie) White has become a Trustee of Chiddingfold Village Hall Charity. Carrie has been our booking clerk for the past year and we are delighted that she has joined us as a trustee.

Other trustees are:

Also joining as a trustee will be:
Peter Little - Parish Council Representative

We thank Steve Salter for continuing to assist when he can with maintenance at the Village Hall. We do need more help at the hall.

The charity is operating with a minimum number of trustees, we do need more trustees and volunteers to help us run the hall. Please contact us if you would like to help.

Chiddingfold Village Hall Charity (Registered Charity No. 305001) is run entirely by volunteers on behalf of the community, the hall is self-funded and receives no funding from the Parish Council or Waverley Borough Council. Please support us in keeping this venue open for the continued use of the residents and village organisations including the Village Nursery School.
