Facepainter loading out on a weekend. Got my bag for life of course 🤣 lots of clothes in there to anticipate the ever changing weather at an outdoor job. I either get too hot or too cold. So lucky to have this mini woodland view from our back garden, which is greening up nicely in the sun.

The reason my back is in view is so the child (or adult) faces outwards and the queue can watch the Facepainting magic happen!
This is so much more entertaining to the line than just watching the facepainter! And it works both ways - a more patient line makes me feel less pressure.

Had the best time at Friends of St Anthony's School this afternoon. My gazebo was packed out & everyone was enjoying the banging tunes from the DJ. No messing about - 80s/90s - and that was it! Just how I like it 🎶 🐬 It was a lovely event helped by the weather. Finger's crossed it holds out for tomorrow too 🤞

It was a wet and windy yesterday (and my gazebo got a good lashing from the elements) but there was still a great turnout and atmosphere for this memorial charity fundraiser at Bognor Town FC at Seasons.
Including this fun moment when some friends got into the spirit of the day and had unexpected face paints!
Very happy to be a part of the day whatever the weather and to make happy faces, of all ages!

Having a sunny week away (and a week off from painting) with my little family on the Isle of Wight - or rather the Mediterranean in high summer because that's exactly what it felt like!! Hope we all got through the heatwave without melting too much. Back to painting next week and all the admin (hopefully a bit cooler too). ⛱️😎🌅
