When you paint about 60 faces but only take one photo! A slow start fooled me into thinking it was going to be a quiet one today, but then the day accelerated! Thank you to all the families who visited the gazebo today. 🌈⭐❤️

End of the Summer season and feeling like already it's a quick change to Autumn/Winter.
This Summer has honestly been incredible and I'm so grateful for all of it - the experiences, the new friends made, the kind words, the lessons learnt!
A BIG thank you & looking forward to what the Winter brings.

Had an absolute blast today at an event in Amberley. The last event of the Summer season with transitional weather - a mix of sun, rain and wind! Not complaining about the rain though, we need it. 🌈🙏⭐

Back to eventing this weekend and opening up the design board to the old classics after much theme wildlife painting over the Summer.
It was windy and rainy outside but luckily a change of plan found my part of the event sheltering in a nearby Church.
The brief was short and speedy facepaints.
Well, some designs were... but mostly it was a steady queue and some detailed faces were happily painted.
Thank you to everyone who braved the weather & stopped by today. 🌈⭐❤️

Ending my wonderful Summer job on a high note. Over one Summer, approximately 400 Dragonflies have been painted!! You can see I've started to turn into a dragonfly on the last day.
Thank you to everyone who has come to get their Facepainted - all the wonderful requests, kind words and fun chats along the way.
And a wonderful team who made me feel like part of their team from day one. ❤️🙏🌈
I can't wait to be back.

It's a wildlife Summer here at Kate's Carnival. And creating some fantasy faces such as Unicorn and Tiger Dragonflies! Loving to improvise on the imaginative requests from the chair. No two faces the same today. 🌈⭐🥰
