This weekend we brought a little extra relaxation to guests staying at in Meadow Hide Lodge 🤍

Three guests, three different treatments, from relaxing back massages and head massages to a facial treatment, all enjoyed without having to leave their lodge.

Their reaction afterwards said it all… “We feel like we’re in heaven.” They were so relaxed, happy and absolutely loved the experience.

Little Adventurers in the Wild 🌿

A birthday spent a little differently… outdoors, creating, playing and learning new skills in nature 🪵🧭

We welcomed a group of boys for their very own children’s bushcraft day, think of it as a mini version of the grown up course! Complete with camouflage hats, hands on activities, plenty of exploring and the sweetest little nature inspired lunch boxes.

And no adventure would be complete without a goody bag to take home, filled with a compass and lots of other outdoor goodies to continue the exploring 🌳
oakwood.escape has partnered with .uk , who run some wonderful nature, craft and bushcraft groups and courses for children and adults.

We already have a few ideas in the pipeline for what we could create together next… watch this space 🌿

Treatments in the Heart of the Woodland

Today we welcomed existing guests, local clients, friends and a few new faces for a day of massage and Reiki, surrounded by nature.

With deer quietly passing through the woodland, buzzards soaring overhead, butterflies drifting by and birdsong filling the air, it was a reminder of how powerful it can be to slow down and reconnect.

The sunshine filtered through the trees, creating the perfect setting for relaxation, restoration and a little time just for you.
