* Planning a wedding is never easy and can bring a lot of stress and worry. Put your feet up and let me undertake those tasks to leave you to enjoy this special time. All too often people wish that they had hired a wedding planner as they weren’t able to properly enjoy their wedding day.Its the best and most important day of your life so you should be relaxed. It really does go by in a flash!

I do all the time consuming leg work, offering you lots of alternatives and then you make the final decisions. However you wish for me to support you, regardless of what level of input you required me to have, I will be there throughout your day should you wish me to attend.

If you already have some aspects of your wedding day covered but feel that a little expert guidance and bespoke support would be helpful, then my partial planning service will provide you with the flexibility you require. During the initial meet, we can discuss in detail exactly what areas of your wedding you’d like some assistance with and then, when you’re happy, I can take on those tasks for you, giving you time and peace of mind in return. Whether you’d like my support in sourcing or negotiating with suppliers or venues, a little extra help with your wedding schedule and budget or an experienced hand to guide you through the styling and design, I’m here for you.
*final few weeks-
When the wedding date is finally in sight, often there’s still a fair amount to take care of. This is when the heat is on and communicating with suppliers, confirming guest requirements or even making last minute adjustments to the table plan still need attention, I have it all in hand. PERSONAL
When it was my turn to be the bride, my husband and I didn't go easy on ourselves; in fact we never do things by half as our friends and family will agree! We had six weeks to plan our entire wedding after pinning down a date! I even made my own dress (I do not encourage this example of madness!) using all of my experience and knowledge, the day went off without a hitch but I do confess, it was hard to switch off from work mode and relax! This was the real turning point and it was then that I decided to offer more than just a hire service for events, and that is when Only You Weddings & Events was born! When I'm not planning events I can usually be found at the beach, wetsuit on and in the water!
