Stories & Supper: Monday 8th June 🌈👣🎨
Join us for another wonderful Stories & Supper session as we enjoy the inspiring book This Is Me by George Webster, BAFTA award-winning CBBC presenter and passionate advocate for inclusion and equality. 🌟
This heartwarming story celebrates how we're all unique, with our own special gifts, families, interests, and things that make us who we are.
🖐️ Create your own special handprint keepsake using card cut-out hands
✏️ Draw and write all the things that make you you – your favourite people, hobbies, foods, pets, and more!
✨ Plus lots of colourful stickers to decorate your creation
👣 Follow our fun footprint path together:
• Walk
• Hop
• Skip
• Turn around
• And try out some of the children's own favourite ways to move!
🎵 Sing and move along to the classic favourite:
Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes!
🎨 Work together to create an enormous paper child, adding:
👀 Eyes
👃 Nose
👄 Mouth
💇 Hair
👕 Clothes
A wonderful opportunity to celebrate all the things that make us different and special.
🖍️ Creative crafts:
Children can choose their own activity:
• Cardboard faces
• Lollipop stick puppets
• Or create their own unique artwork
📖 Enjoy sharing ideas and talking about the things that make each of us special as we explore this beautiful story together
🍅 Delicious tomato pasta and drinks to enjoy together
💬 After supper, we'll sit together in a circle and share our wonderful creations
