Daisy Days Photography Hi, I'm Charlotte and I have a National Diploma in Fine Art and a City & Guilds in Photography. I have been photographing occasional weddings since 2007.

Hi, I'm Charlotte and I offer Wedding and some portrait photography services. Wedding prices start from £500 for the full day, which includes the ceremony, formal photographs afterwards, and the reception ( including the first dance, cake cutting, etc). Price may vary on travel & other factors. You get all the edited photographs on a USB with the rights to share, copy and print. Portraits are a 'p

op up' studio that can be brought to you or can be done outdoors. All couples welcome!

Took my boys to see some tractors this morning at a local ploughing match. Thought I'd take my camera, something different to photograph, although I still got moaned at by my eldest for stopping to take photos, even though he was too!

A few from yesterday's wedding with Olivia and Scott. An interesting change for me was that I wasn't the main photographer at the wedding, but I was photographing the groomsmen getting ready (it's usually the bride!) and leading up to the wedding at the church. I didn't realise until afterwards that my friend Kim at The pet lady looked after their dog Ronnie and escorted her to the wedding later as she was the Dog of Honour! 🐾

Scott had a great idea for the photos, I love it when everyone gets involved! And I just love the photo of Olivia through the trees at the church. ❤️ Beautiful!

Congratulations 🎉

Just a little update. I've decided to take a break from wedding/portrait photography.

❤️ Do not panic if you're already booked, these are unaffected! ❤️

I started back in 2007 when I was looking for a studio position to gain more experience, a couple, Jem and Lee asked if I would photograph their wedding. I never looked back from there and have had the privilege to photograph some amazing weddings and meet some wonderful people along the way.

I've been truly in love with the images I've taken and been immensely grateful for the kind words from the couples I've worked with.

In 2019 I had my first son, editing wedding photos with a young child was next level. Then COVID happened, everything went quiet, weddings were small and intimate, I didn't have another wedding until 2024. The difference this time was that I had two children to cause havoc whilst I tried to edit. I've also always worked part time alongside all of this.

It's a lot harder to do all of the things I do, particularly being a perfectionist, whilst doing everything else at the same time.

I've got hundreds of photos that I've taken that I've never gotten round to editing, including many of my kids when they were younger when I did shoots, because other photos with deadlines have taken precident.

So, it's not goodbye, my page is still here, I will still be around and I'll post photos I think you might enjoy as I edit them.

I've still got wedding commitments in both July and August I will share these with you once they have been given to the couple.

If you do need a photographer, do get in touch in case I can help or can point you in the right direction.

A tad longer than I hoped, but Jess and Jame's photos are finished and will be on the way to them shortly!

Not only did I have two young kids to look after whilst working part time, but also 2 weeks of Easter holidays to contend with (okay I had a week at the seaside in that 😁) but I also woke up one morning to find I had gone partially deaf in one ear, my ear felt full like it needed to pop, and had the most awful tinnitus!

A trip to the doctors and urgent hearing exam at the hospital revealed my hearing was way lower than it should be. Prescribed with an intense course of steriods, there was a chance my hearing would return. I was terrrified, thought I would go fully deaf and never hear my kids say I love you, ever again. But, with many good and bad days, a week and a half later, my hearing returned, with very minor tinnitus that may stay forever.

I have had to have blood tests to rule out any autoimmune diseases, an MRI to rule out a tumour (awaiting results) and was lined up for steroid injections into my ear drum if the oral steroids didn't work.

The reason I'm sharing this, is that I had no idea this could happen and want to make people aware! It's called Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss and most cases are idiopathic (no cause), but is essentially a misscommunication problem between your inner ear and brain. It usually happens in one ear only.

Some people hear a pop before their hearing goes, others, like me wake up to find their hearing gone. Your ear will feel full. You will likely have tinnitus. Some people experience vertigo, which can mean the chances of your hearing returning is lessened.

If you experience this please go to the docotors ASAP. I was lucky to see an ENT specialist who knew what it was straight away. The sooner you can start steroids, the better chance you have of regaining your hearing. There is no guarantee it won't happen again, but I believe the chances are low.

I will never take the birds singing or my kids voices for granted again. ❤️

Thanks for reading and share for awareness! 😘
