CONFETTI. EVERYWHERE!

Mollie & Ryan tied the knot on 21st August and LOOK at these gorgeous sneak peeks from their photographer!

That first walk as newlyweds, surrounded by all their favourite people and absolutely COVERED in my biodegradable petal confetti.

Exactly how a confetti moment should be.

I absolutely LOVE seeing my confetti in the professional photos afterwards — especially when the photographer catches those little petals flying through the air perfectly.

And judging by Mollie's face… I think we can safely say the confetti shot was a success. 😂

9,000 STEPS… AND IT WASN'T EVEN MIDDAY. 😂

This photo was taken at 11:36am.

8,920 steps already clocked up and the wedding day had barely even begun!

I'd been there since early morning getting everything ready, setting up, checking the details, sorting suppliers and making sure everything was exactly where it needed to be.

And there were still a LOT more steps to come. 😂

Because when I coordinate a wedding, I'm not popping in for a couple of hours and disappearing once you've said “I do”.

I'm there for the build-up.

The set-up.

The suppliers arriving.

Getting the bridal Party dressed.

Fixing wonky veils.

Fixing button holes.

Shining shoes.

The ceremony.

The little problems you hopefully never even know happened.

The running backwards and forwards approximately 726 times.

The room changes.

The timings.

The checking.

The organising.

And right through to watching you have your first dance and cut your wedding cake. ❤️

By that point, I daren't even tell you what the step counter said. 😂

Wedding coordination is a long day on my feet…

But it means my couple gets to spend their day being exactly that — the couple.

Not the organiser.
Not the supplier contact.
Not the person checking the clock.

Just two people getting married and having the bloody brilliant day they've spent months planning. 🥂

When you're coordinating a wedding and somehow STILL end up taking bookings.

Talk about never being off duty. 😂

This gorgeous audio guestbook was there for guests to leave lovely messages for the newlyweds…

Apparently someone had other ideas.

☎️ “Hi Sam, just wondering if you're free for our wedding…”

I mean, I'll take enquiries however they come. 😂

WhatsApp? Yep.
Email? Yep.
Socials? Yep.
Random vintage telephone at somebody else's wedding? APPARENTLY ALSO YES. 😂

WAS THIS IN THE PLAN? NO. 😂

The ceremony was set.

The chairs were dressed.

Everything was ready to go INSIDE

And then, right at the last minute…

☀️ “The weather's looking good… can we get married outside instead?”

Of course you can. 😂

Was an outdoor ceremony in the plan? Nope.

Did we have loads of time to change everything? Also nope.

Did I make it happen? Absolutely. 🙋‍♀️

Out came the emergency stash from my kit bag, extra décor was found, outdoor chairs were dressed and suddenly we had a beautiful ceremony ready to go outside. ❤️

Because wedding coordination isn't just about following a beautifully organised spreadsheet.

Sometimes it's about being able to throw the spreadsheet out of the window, think on your feet and GET IT DONE. 😂

And THAT is why I carry a kit bag that could probably survive a small apocalypse.

BANK HOLIDAY? NEVER HEARD OF HER. 😂🥂

Apparently Bank Holidays are for relaxing.

Lie-ins.
BBQs.
Days out.
A cheeky drink in the sunshine…

Meanwhile, in wedding world:

THIS. 👆😂

Neck fan still attached.
Hair's given up.
Feet are questioning their life choices.
And Sam has finally located the refreshments. 🥂

Because while everyone else is enjoying the long weekend, wedding season doesn't really do “Bank Holiday.”

There are weddings to coordinate, dresses to fluff, suppliers to organise, rooms to turn around and approximately 762 things happening that the couple never even need to know about.

And quite frankly…

I'll drink to that. 😂🥂

WEDDING COORDINATOR: TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE. 😂☀️

Let me set the scene…

The hottest, longest day of 2025*

A full weekend wedding.

In a tipi.

And at some point my body simply said…

“Sam. Sit your arse down.” 😂

Except I didn't sit.

I found a sofa in a quiet corner, checked that absolutely nobody needed me and thought:

I'll just close my eyes for 20 minutes...

AND I DID. 😂

20 minutes later — reboot complete. 🔋

Up I got, back into coordinator mode and off we went again!

Wedding coordination isn't glamorous ALL the time, folks. Sometimes it's beautiful dresses, perfectly timed ceremonies and gorgeous table settings…

And sometimes it's finding an antique sofa and having a tactical power nap before anybody notices you've disappeared. 😂

But that's the beauty of having someone there for the whole weekend — keeping everything moving, knowing when I'm needed, knowing when I'm not…

…and apparently knowing when to CHARGE THE COORDINATOR. 🔌😂

THIS is what wedding coordination looks like before the wedding day. ❤️

The couple.
The venue.
The photographer.
And me — the coordinator.

All sat around one table for the final meeting, going through the plans, timings, logistics and all those little details that need to come together to make one BIG day run smoothly.

Because I don't just turn up on your wedding morning with a clipboard and hope for the best. 😂

By the time your wedding day arrives, I want to know:

Who's arriving when.

What's happening where.

Who needs what.

What the photographer needs time for.

What the venue needs from us.

When rooms need changing.

Where everyone needs to be.

And, most importantly, what YOU want your day to feel like.

Everyone leaves knowing the plan.

Then on the wedding day, you can forget about it.

Because I've got it. 🙋‍♀️❤️

Because then I move something else.
Then something else looks wrong.
Then I stand at the other side of the room.
Then I move the first thing back.
Wedding styling in 20 seconds looks wonderfully straightforward.
Reality is slightly more... Sam-shaped chaos. 😂

THE FACE OF A WEDDING COORDINATOR AFTER MIDNIGHT. 😂

Everyone sees the beautiful wedding photos.

What they don't always see is the coordinator whose alarm went off at stupid o'clock that morning… and who is still going after midnight. 👆😂

Early morning set-ups.
Supplier arrivals.
Dress steaming.
Buttonholes.
Last-minute changes.
Keeping everything running to time.
Room turnarounds.
Problem solving.
Packing everything away again.

And then sometime after midnight…

THIS WOMAN APPEARS. 😂😂

Slightly delirious.
Running mainly on caffeine, adrenaline and the remains of the wedding cake.
Wondering whether it's technically bedtime or breakfast time. 😂

But do you know what?

I bloody LOVE it. ❤️

Because while I'm doing the early starts, the late finishes and everything in between, my couples get to actually enjoy their wedding day rather than manage it.

And that's exactly how it should be. 🥂
