Eeeeeekkkkkk….. Christmas has started here at Cover Story HQ and what a way to start with this spectacular install at the stunning …..

What a joy it was to be asked to dress this fabulous hotel ready for Christmas this year….
✨
So here is a little peek at some of what we have done, Keeping it traditional in stunning red and gold it really complimented the newly renovated decor perfectly….
✨
Our fabulous handmade bows made a statement on the entrance door, staircase and Christmas tree and we absolutely loved how they turned out….
✨
A little trip back needed to finish around the tree with presents and it is all done, we hope you love it as much as we loved dressing it….

Hello again you lovely lot, what a summer this has been so many gorgeous weddings, fabulous florals, laughs, tears (happy ones of course), no sleep, aching bodies, but the best times 😂😊❤️….

Sooooooo, one of the many stunning weddings we have styled this summer was for the fabulous Nicky & Sam….
✨
What a great journey it was, every detail addressed and nothing left to chance….
✨
We absolutely loved every part of this day and how it turned out, even the sore backs 😂😂….

✨ Timeless, Elegant, Classic…. ✨

The scene was set, with lots white florals lots of greenery and hints of black, we absolutely loved how Sam & Ian’s wedding day looked….
✨
We had a great time planning what we were going to do and it was a huge pleasure working with such a lovely couple on their journey to the ido’s…..
✨
You always know it’s going to be beautiful when working at the gorgeous but I still love it when we see the pics, these first few photos are courtesy of the ever talented and the other photos are of the room before the guests arrived….

✨ Beautiful bespoke florals ✨

This week we have had the immense pleasure of putting our flower fairy skills to the test….
✨
Working alongside our good friends we were asked dress their mandap for the wedding of Reema & Jit ….
✨
From the outset Reema knew the colour scheme exactly, after several conversations she left the rest to us….
✨
Like a well oiled machine all the suppliers worked together like clockwork, the day and night ran without a hitch, what an absolutely fabulous wedding this was….
✨
We designed and built every floral piece to the colour palette given and are super proud of what we created, and the reaction of our lovely newlyweds, their family and friends was amazing….
✨
We loved every part of styling this wedding, we love to create one off pieces, making each wedding unique….
✨

✨ Northwest wedding awards 2024 ✨
✨
A little story for you….
✨
The first year we got nominated for best venue stylist 2021, I was really confused I hadn’t entered any awards, didn’t really know how they worked or understood much about how you were nominated until I got this message saying I was nominated and a badge similar to the one I’ve just posted, I rang the office of to see if it was genuine and I was told I’d been nominated by one of my past couples, Wow how fantastic I was completely bowled over….
✨
A few months on we found out we had made it as a finalist, again who knew this could be possible….
✨
So the night of the awards came, and a visit to who helped me look my best, i remember sitting at my table, serious imposter syndrome set in, the talent in the room was incredible and I genuinely thought I had no chance of winning….
✨
I actually won, I was so shocked I even forgot my award Duane had to come and get me back up 😂😂😂….
✨
That was 2021, we have been so lucky to win also in 2022 and 2023 and now we have been nominated for 2024….
✨
The feelings never go away, the appreciation always remains, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every bride, groom, venue, supplier, family and friend who have supported my journey, i and my team have worked so hard to build what we have but ultimately you guys have trusted my vision, believed in the dream and gave me the freedom to create….
✨
So soppy message aside from the bottom of my heart thank you, I’m not sure we can win this 4 years on the bounce but hey shall we have a go ❤️….
✨

What a start to the new year today for Lindsey & Rick….

The sun was shining brightly over the beautiful where our beautiful white blossom trees took pride of place, adorned with crystals all sparkling in the sunlight as it beamed in through the windows….

The first day of the new year, saw our newlyweds first day as husband & wife….
✨

✨ 2023, you are officially a wrap…. ✨

Well we have finished the last day of the year off with a fabulous New Year’s Eve wedding at one of our favourite places ….
✨
The gorgeous Hayley & Dave said their I do’s in front of family and friends in the beautiful hall, followed by a New Year’s Eve party to remember in the marquee….
✨
Burgundy & blush were the colours of choice and they added such rich tones for a winter wedding….
✨
Mr & Mrs Skinner we wish you both the happiest new year and a lifetime of love xx

2023 has a been an amazing journey we couldn’t have wrote if we tried, so let’s hope 2024 has only the best intentions for us too ✨,

✨ 2023, not quite a wrap yet ✨

As I sit this morning waiting for my boys to wake up and let the Christmas Day magic begin, i just wanted to take a moment to appreciate 2023 and wish all you lovely lot a very Merry Christmas….

We have had the honour and privilege to be a part of so many special days this year and many years past, and have loved each and every one of them, our couples our amazing and we are so, so lucky….
✨
Soooo….
✨
To all our brides, grooms, the wonderful staff in the best venues who we are lucky enough to work with, our fellow industry friends, and not forgetting my amazing team for making our crazy world fun thank you so much….
✨
A special thank you to my family for putting up with my wild life, constant mess and crazy ideas you do nothing but support and encourage me and I love you all so so much….
✨
We have a wedding upcoming on New Year’s Eve and then starting 2024 with a wedding on New Year’s Day so back with a bang….
✨
So for now I am an signing off for the next few days to spend some much anticipated time with my family so Merry Christmas to you all, thank you for everything and wishing you all the best for an amazing 2024 ❤️###x

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of styling the wedding of Rachel & Kirsty….
✨
From our first meeting they pretty much knew what they wanted, so it was down to us to make the magic happen….
✨
Fast forward to their wedding day, we styled the fabulous@nunsmerehall bringing all the beauty of Autumn alive…..
✨
The day was magnificent, Rachel & Kirsty looked a dream and everything was wonderful….
✨
But wow…. The amazing took some sensational shots and our newlyweds sent a few over, this image is just utterly incredible the professional pics really are the best just look at how good the Autumn trees look ❤️❤️❤️….
✨

✨ The castle in candlelight ✨
✨
What a joy Friday was, we had the absolute pleasure of styling the incredible for the lovely Holly & Nick….
✨
Our brief was a a beautiful candlelit walkway, with candles wherever possible, a stunning showpiece to set it all off, all in a warm Autumn colour palette to include dry florals and pampas, but inkeeping with the rawness of the castle….
✨
So we set to work, deciding on a trio of triangular arches we made bespoke floral pieces specifically designed to our beautiful brides mood board….
✨
What fun we have had, we literally loved how the ceremony looked in the great hall, with no less than 140 candles gracing the aisle, fireplaces, windowsills and arch it literally looked like a fairy tale….
✨
After the ceremony, but staying in the great hall, we relocated all the aisle candles to 3 long tables for the wedding breakfast, it was a fantastic set up and suited the castle so so well….
✨
Holly & Nick it was a huge honour to style your day for you both, we hope it was all you hoped for. Wishing you both lots of love for a lifetime of happiness together xx

A beautiful palette of peach was chosen for the decor which really looked so so pretty….

But, just look at how the decor created the most amazing backdrop in these professional photos taken by the super talented ….

is always a pleasure to style as it really is just beautiful, some would say it doesn’t need a lot of decor, with its ornate ceilings and stunning wood panelling I’m sure we would all be inclined to agree….

But….

What if we added giant trees, lots of greenery and a ton of candlelight….
✨
Well, for the lovely Fernella & James that is exactly what we did and wow did it work….
✨
