Including a slow cooked, honey and mustard roast ham joint from Broom House Farm - happy pigs fed on local, organic feed😋

We are the catering side of - saving amazing quality food from otherwise going to waste. It's a privilege to be able to re-value this food, wrongly labelled "worthless", by making beautiful spreads like this!

Five meal sittings in two days, for around 80 people each time: this weekend really showed off the best of what we can do.

From sandwiches and homemade cakes, to an Ottolenghi-inspired, colourful buffet and a giant paella cooked on site in the beautiful setting of . Then an evening at with veggie or chicken tagine, puddings and cheese boards.

Our brilliant team showed creativity, stamina and smiles all weekend.

As always, all using surplus food that would otherwise have been wasted, raising funds for the food waste-saving work of , and giving people paid, supportive work experience.

How cute do these individually boxed afternoon teas look for an event in Durham today!

The organisers wanted to be cautious of sharing food because of Covid-19 so asked if we could portion for individuals. We also catered for all their dietary requirements, gluten free, vegan etc. with these cute stickers 😍

(I think we have just about had enough of making sandwiches now, though, looking forward to getting on to *Christmas dinners* from next week!)
