W O W!! Just sat down after a mammoth ten days of work! Days and nights of creating a shop fit for a lovely green grocers. Early doors at the markets gathering the fruit and veg. Packing the shop full of the green stuff and flowers. Pricing it right just for you. Nights of creating your floral bouquets and arrangements. Thank you for saying the nicest of things, it’s made it all worthwhile. Had a couple of wobbles but made it through. People of Chester I salute you! 🍊🫡

See you next week to do it all again! But for now I’m going to enjoy a couple days of rest 🩷

Well the rain didn’t put you off did it?! Thank you for braving the weather and coming in to fill up your baskets! I also did a sun dance and we got the fruit n veg table out this afternoon with all the goodies!! 🥦🍑🍑🥦🍓

More of the stuff you 🩷 has landed and some new stuff too! Corn 🌽 on the cobs are in ready for bbqs this weekend! But be quick!!

Tomorrow it looks like ☔️ most of the day so all our fruit n veg 🥕🍑🍓🍏🍎🍊🍒🥦 will be inside. Make sure you pop in to pick some up if you’re down Chester, and keep me company!

Also, I’ve made a list of requests today which will be in stock from tomorrow including lemons, broccoli, sweet potatoes, more jersey potatoes, pomegranates and anything else that come in as requests in the mean time. Also a top up of everything else as you’ve enjoyed this week.

If you’re new to my page…hello.

Here’s a little bit about us…

We are Pretty Busy Blooms. Florist, (soon to be Fruiterer!) Gift Shop and Durham stockist of chalk paint. We are located on 116 Front Street Chester le Street opposite the Lambton Arms Pub. We are a family run business and pride ourselves on our flowers , service and five star reviews.

Our story began in 2019 when I began creating floral signs and wreaths from home. Our name back then was Pretty Busy Signs and Floral Designs (a bit of a mouthful!) but then we were doing more flowers than anything and became Pretty Busy Blooms. We created a flower bike and did markets all around the North East. We worked with Charlotte Crosby holding events for her business. It was time for a shop!

Our little pink shop has made its mark on the front street with two mentions in Parliament, events to raise money for charity, helping local independent creators showcase and sell their makes, unique workshops and supporting young people in work. We are excited to be branching out into fruit & veg in the next week, pop in and check out our high quality produce.
