The Little Theatre by the Park (formerly known as The Temperance Hall) is located in Church Street in Chesham's old town area next to Lowndes Park, and is the ideal venue for functions of all kinds, classes and public performances. The entrance is via the driveway alongside the building and is accessible for disabled users. The large hall (14x7m) has a capacity for 90 and is licensed for public pe
rformances. Tables and chairs are available for hirers to use. The kitchen which adjoins the hall has a six ring gas hob and commercial gas oven, fridge and microwave oven for hirers to use. The stage at one end of the hall has a depth of approx 4m which can be extended. For those hiring the Theatre for a production there is a small Green Room alongside the stage and a dressing room and small cast kitchen upstairs. The foyer has an open cloakroom area which includes a fold-down box office area which is useful when holding public events. Toilet facilities, including those for the Disabled, are accessed from the foyer. Parking is available in one of the many nearby car parks in the town.
