Please join me for lunch this Friday. My next pop-up café at The Isbourne, Wolsey Terrace, Cheltenham is 19 June from 11.30-2.30pm.

The basement café space is cool, calm and very friendly. Aand of course, I will prepare you a fabulous lunch. Fancy a dessert too? Then I will have some cakes on the counter, along with teas, coffee and cold drinks.

I can do takeaways too if you need to get back to work or just fancy a picnic in a nearby park.

Walk-ins welcome although we do have a number of bookings around 12.30.

THE NEXT POP POP-UP CAFE AT THE ISBOURNE, CHELTENHAM

I have a mixture of private chef, private celebration bookings and business lunch jobs lined up for this month, but I will host another pop up café at The Isbourne in the centre of Cheltenham.

It will be Friday 19 June this time, 11.30-2.30 in the café downstairs.

The sun shines over Cae Mabon just as I’m packing up to head home…

I know, the warmest day of the week has arrived on the last morning!!!

So breakfast is done and I will soon be heading back to the real world.

Retreats are a fantastic experience, and being a Retreat Chef for this week has been a joy.

So, I hope to see you at my pop-up cafe at The Isbourne, Cheltenham next week. Otherwise catch up soon.

Greetings from the Retreat Chef - final day!

It’s been a long week, with long days. But making people happy with my food also makes me happy!

It’s the halfway point of my Retreat Chef week.

The guys are all fasting for almost 24 hours so I wanted to feed them well today.

We started with overnight oats, fruit and sourdough toast.

Then I brought out the big hitters… Carrot and coriander soup with a Poco classic - Lebanese flatbread with my own signature hummus and falafels. And a North Indian Dal to finish…

Hoping the weather improves soon though, I have only caught one glimpse of the Snowdonia mountains through the mist.

Day Three in the Retreat Kitchen

After long period of fasting I had everyone back at the dining room table. And wow were they all hungry…

I broke their fast at 5pm with some fat medjool dates and a fruit platter.

Then at dinner at 6.30 they worked their way through Courgette Fritters with tomato salsa. I filled them up with a massive tray of Lasagne Verde and finished them off with a moist apple cake with plum compote.

Back on it for 8 am breakfast tomorrow…

So day two of my Retreat Chef experience at Cae Mabon near the Snowdonia mountains.

It’s been gloomy, dark and damp today. But I have tried to add some sunshine to my plates to help part the clouds.
