And just like that… our very first year of Pasta Rig is wrapped up as we close out 2025 🧡

From the highs, the graft, the chaos and everything in between — THANK YOU. What a year.

Some moments we’ll never forget ⤵️

9️⃣ Finding those rare calm moments in the madness at
🔟 Getting roped into serving pasta at your godsons’ BMX races (and boy did he eat pasta!)

1️⃣2️⃣ And one seriously talented human I’m lucky enough to call a friend — nothing was ever too much this year 🤍

And with that… we’re done for 2025.
Beyond stoked. Beyond grateful. SO ready for 2026 🚀

To everyone who trusted us, backed us, booked us, fed off us and believed in us this year — customers, event teams and everyone in between — thank you. Truly.

2025… honestly, where do we start 🥹🍝

Buckle up, this could be a long one!

From muddy fields and festival sunsets, to full pans of boiling water, long queues and staff dancing like they weren’t meant to be working 💃🕺 What a season it’s been from the very beginning, and let’s not forget, this was our FIRST ever season in business!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us, supported us, shared a bowl, had a chat, or came back for “just one more” 👀

I’m beyond grateful for the new friendships we’ve made (you all know who you are), the support and guidance we’ve received and the love we’ve been shown!

And to the absolute legends behind the rig, my staff, a bunch of incredible friends and family, who kept the vibes high and the pasta flying, we couldn’t have done it without you ❤️

We’re already buzzing for 2026… we’re coming with the same rig, bigger energy, and plenty more pasta. The calendar is already looking great!

We didn’t expect a simple envelope to hit us this hard.

We were asked a while back if we’d be able to sponsor Dreamflight, an incredible charity that takes children with serious illness or disability on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Florida.

Truth be told, it was early doors for us… pre-season, money tight, and almost every penny accounted for. We couldn’t sponsor anywhere near as much as we would’ve liked, but we still found a way to make a small contribution and show our support.

This week, the card and photo you can see here landed through the door. Signed by the kids who went on the trip.
And honestly… it stops you in your tracks.
Puts everything into perspective.

Makes it all feel absolutely worth it.
Massive respect to for the magic they create - and to the kids, thank you for taking the time to send this. Means more than you know. 🧡✈️🌍

Always dream big kids! Never give up!

Two of the most genuine lads in the business. Continuing to shine a light on the behind the scenes of small business!

Thank you both and the team again for all the support you’ve shown us! Can’t wait to cross paths again 🧡

The team at The Pasta Rig had the exact same festival costs as us at Lytham - and it was a proper reminder of how brutal the behind-the-scenes can be for small food vendors.

We want to start sharing more of the real costs, the graft, and the reality of running a food business. We’ve always been open and transparent, and the truth is: most people don’t realise what actually goes into it.

Before we even opened, we spent over £16,000 just to get started. And when you see a £12 spud at a festival, it’s easy to think that’s all profit - but it’s far from it.

There’s pitch fees, commission cuts, staff wages, insurance, VAT, packaging, and more. After all that, that £12 spud might leave us with around £1.47 profit - and believe it or not, that’s actually decent in today’s economy.

We’re really lucky - and we’ve worked hard - to build a platform that also earns on socials. If you’re a small vendor, we can’t recommend it enough: get on socials, tell your story, show the work. People care more than you think!

At the end of the day, we’re just two lads selling spuds. But if we can use our platform to help others understand the why behind small business pricing, we’re doing something right.
