It's nearly here! 🎉

The Gathering is just a few weeks away, and we are more excited than ever to bring to you a great weekend of roadbooking with a social evening in the middle.

There are several options for attending the event depending on your level of adventure 🗺️

Full ADV Mode - Pack the camping kit on your bike and ride to the venue on Saturday along one of five roadbook routes. Each route starts from a different point in the country so pick the closest one to you and get navigating! The routes will all be scored with awards given during the evening entertainment. 🏆

Happy Camper - Drive or ride to the venue to join the jolly on Saturday evening which includes speakers, music 🎶, food vendors and a bar. Camp out and then join the rides on Sunday. Suitable for riders who travel and camp in their vans 🚐.

Sunday Fun Day - Arrive Sunday morning and enjoy a day of roadbooking around the Cotswolds! There are three routes available to choose from of around 150km each. Ride as many or as few as you wish!

Let's close out this summer with style, gathering with like minded people, riding great trails and having an awesome adventure! 🌞

The August practise roadbook routes are now live on the RallyMoto app:

Wales and Northumberland.

The Wales route uses a couple of excellent long byways that have recently had multiple gates replaced by cattle grids for your riding pleasure ;) Of course there is some stunning Welsh scenery on route and a cafe at the start/finish location to fuel up and unwind. ☕

Or explore Northumberland, beginning at a Roman Museum. Enjoy a mix of open moorland and lush forestry lanes, offering a real treat through breathtaking scenery. 🏞️🍃

Zero Heroes and happy riders this weekend at a Cotswolds 'double event'. Sunday we ran an Adventure Rally Raid alongside the day 2 of a weekend roadbook training camp.

The Cotswolds

Join us for a full weekend of roadbook training, designed to take you from 'Zero to Hero' and get you rolling into the world of roadbook navigation and Adventure Rallying!

Learn and develop your roadbook navigation skills with FIM standard roadbooks with CAP only sections, speed zones, special stages, hidden waypoints and everything you can expect at an Adventure Rally.

The following day we will also run an Adventure Rally Raid from the same location with both tarmac and off-road options for trainees. This is a great opportunity to put your new skills to the test!

Join us this August 30/31 for the 2025 gathering of RallyMoto members, roadbook enthusiasts and rally racers in a weekend packed with navigation, awards, speakers, music, food and a good old party!

It's time to unwind and let the good times roll in good company!

For this event we have a fantastic venue in the heart of the Cotswolds complete with excellent camping facilities, cafe, bar, and music venue. Riders will have to navigate there from one of five different locations around the country, so the event begins before you even arrive!

Score zero penalty points on your journey there and earn your 'Zero Hero' award at the evening ceremony!

Hear talks from the likes of Robbie Wallace (Dakar racer), The Wandering Honda (RallyMoto Ambassadors who've taken on the world) and Fitbones (inspiring riders to stay ride fit well into their later years).

Getting started with roadbook navigation has never been easier...

The RallyMoto Digital Roadbook App is now available to download on google play, and with it comes a whole load of Adventure Rallies and motorcycle navigation adventures.

We've been running the app for a number of years now on our own events as an alternative to a paper roadbook set up. Being so cheap and lightweight has made it a favourite set up with newcomers, longtime rally riders, and adventure riders who enjoy the easy transformation of their adventure bike into a rally machine!

It has undergone many different versions and upgrades, many tweaks and tests, and with the help of our members providing their constructive feedback, it is ready for the wider world.

So what do you get?

The RallyMoto Digital Roadbook App is designed to be used for "Adventure Rally" events and roadbook navigation challenges organised by RallyMoto.

The app includes everything you need to take part in the events, including:

- An Accurate Trip / Odometer that is micro adjustable
- Speed indication
- Bearing / CAP in degrees
- Roadbook display area and download function.
- A GPS tracking function.

The app can be specially used for:
- Free practice roadbooks (one per month)
- Remote roadbook events, such as the Ice Breaker and Blazing Saddles Challenges
- Attended events such as Kielder 500, Wales 500 and Dark Skies Events
- Overseas Adventure Rally Challenges, such as the Estrela 2000
- Specific digital challenges, such as the Coast 2 Coast, the Longest Day and Pandemic Rally

The app can also be used for our training and practice Adventure Rally Raid events.

We had a great day out on Salisbury Plain yesterday running an Adventure Rally Raid especially for the big bikes. The tracks were easy off-road, yet the challenge of the day was all in the navigation. The roadbook had some especially tricky sections such as blind tulips, CAP only sections, and there were hidden waypoints to go and find along the way.

We offered a training session at the start of the day for those who were new to roadbooking as there was a lot to take in for a first timer, however by the end of the day they had navigated a complex roadbook in it's entirety which is a huge achievement!

Congratulations to the one Zero Hero of the day, Lucasz Bronka.
