We’ve had sunshine and rain this week in Charlton Kings! Which we think our gardens are loving!

We’ve got plenty of plants in stock that will make the most of this weather and bring colour and interest to your garden all summer long.

A few favourites currently in the shop include:

🌸 Bougainvillea – perfect for a sunny, sheltered spot.

🌿 Hydrangeas – wonderful for adding colour to borders and pots, especially in those slightly shadier areas.

🌼 Osteospermum – cheerful daisy-like flowers that just keep going throughout the season.

🌺 Dianthus – beautifully scented and ideal for containers and cottage garden borders.

🌱 Lupins – bringing height, structure and those stunning flower spikes.

💗 Bleeding Hearts – perfect for those quieter, shaded corners of the garden.

🌸 Armeria – brilliant for edging paths, rockeries and sunny spots.

And for indoors, we’ve just had a fresh delivery of Spider Plants. One of the easiest houseplants to care for, they’re perfect for shelves, windowsills and adding a little greenery to your home.

We're making the most of the Bank Holiday Season, so will be taking a little break from the shop over the last May Bank Holiday Weekend.

We will be closed from Saturday 23rd May through to Monday 25th May inclusive. If you have plans for floral gifts over that weekend, please can you pop in or call us before Friday 22nd May so we can ensure your floral orders are ready.

Fresh delivery of locally sourced Hydrangeas are here at our little Charlton Kings Shop.

Hydrangeas make an ideal gift for friends, family and even a little treat for yourself.

You can also propagate this stunning plant very easily so you can get a plant that just keeps giving.

If you want some more information on hydrangeas, just ask Izzy who will be delighted to chat through this versatile seasonal plant. Or head to our blog from earlier this month to get more insights.

Little tip too… you can dry the blooms so easily to enjoy your hydrangea all year round!
