✨FIVE REASONS WHY✨
I’m forever banging on about how proud I am of this business & that will never stop. I’ve been through a lot in recent years & Functions has given me so much hope again, so I wanted to share 5 of my favourite things about it✨
1- I get to be creative every day & finesse all the little details. I don’t understand the words ‘basic’ or ‘understated’. Tying a theme together with all the details is what makes them so special. I love having the freedom to create as many themes & setups as I want- no limits, just my judgement & opinions.
2- I get to deal with people again. Call me crazy but I’m a people person through & through & the corporate world took that away from me. You spend time behind screens not getting to interact with customers & that just isn’t me. I thrive when I’ve got customers, people to chat to & create for, it makes me truly happy.
3- I’m the boss. Those who know me well, know I’m a control freak through & through, so having my own business works perfectly as I get to be in control of literally everything! On a more serious note though, it also fits around my health condition. If I’m having a bad day or a rough few hours, I can rest on my terms & work whenever I’m feeling up to it.
4- I wear multiple hats. One day I’m a content creator & copy writer. The next I’m a caterer. I get to do everything from purchasing stock to planning events to networking to running social media platforms, the list goes on. I love that no two days are exactly the same, it keeps life interesting & is a beautiful reminder that I’m building the life I want for myself. I’m very proud of that.
5- The possibilities are endless & the future is bright. I have so many ideas for this business & the sky really is the limit when it comes to creativity & opportunities. There’s still a million ideas I haven’t even thought of yet & that excites me so much.
