Marie & Shane ❤️

There are some couples you just click with from the start, and these two were definitely one of them.

I first met Marie and Shane at one of the Leez Priory open days where I exhibit as one of their trusted suppliers. We got chatting, really connected, and I was genuinely so pleased when they came back and asked me to photograph their wedding.

They’d both admitted they were a little nervous about the photography, so we arranged a pre wedding shoot. For me, that’s exactly what those shoots are about. We had a laugh, got to know each other properly and, most importantly, showed them that having your photograph taken really doesn’t need to be awkward or stressful.

By the time the wedding came around it genuinely felt less like turning up to photograph clients and more like spending the day with old friends.

And what a day it was ❤️

The wind certainly tried its best to cause us a few problems 😂 but it didn’t matter. The whole day just flowed beautifully, everyone was up for having a great time and Leez looked incredible as always.

Then there was Willow… 🐾❤️

Their absolutely gorgeous dog and VERY important ring bearer. She was such a huge part of their day and quite rightly features heavily in the photos. I think she may have known exactly how photogenic she was too 😂

Marie and Shane, thank you for putting your trust in me. From that first chat at the open day, to our pre wedding shoot, to finally watching you get married, it was an absolute pleasure being part of it all.

Emily & Ben ❤️

There’s something about that first photo that just sums these two up.

Middle of the night. Rain coming down. Most people would be running for cover… Emily and Ben were out there absolutely embracing it. And what a shot we got 🔥

But that energy was there from the very start.

Emily getting ready with her mum. Ben walking with the lads, laughing and soaking up those last few moments before the ceremony.

Then one of my favourite parts of any wedding day… Emily walking alongside her dad towards the ceremony. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the years and moments like that still get me. There’s so much wrapped up in that little walk.

Then they saw each other.

The nerves disappeared, the smiles took over and from that point onwards it just felt like one massive celebration.

Confetti flying. Beautiful portraits around Gaynes Park. Everyone completely up for it.

And then night came… 🙌🏻

Hands in the air, dance floor packed, friends surrounding them and absolutely nobody interested in taking it easy 😂

Some weddings slowly build towards the party.

This one was party, party, party pretty much all day.

Emily & Ben, you were an absolute joy to photograph. You trusted me, embraced everything I threw at you, even standing in the pouring rain at night, and gave me a day full of moments I loved capturing.

What a wedding.

22 years ago today, it was our wedding day ❤️

We met whilst travelling, and I don’t think either of us could have imagined the adventure that was ahead of us.

We’ve travelled the world together, experienced so many incredible places and cultures, and made more memories than we could ever count.

Now, with our amazing children alongside us, the adventure continues… just with a lot more luggage 😂

22 years married and still making beautiful memories together.

Charlie & Lucy ❤️

There was so much emotion throughout this day.

One moment that really got me was Lucy’s dad walking in and seeing her in her dress for the first time. I’ve photographed weddings for a long time, but I never take for granted how privileged I am to be in the room for moments like this. As a dad myself, watching his reaction definitely got me. You can’t help but imagine what that moment must feel like. 🥲

Then came the ceremony and you could almost feel the nerves disappear the second Charlie & Lucy were finally together at the end of the aisle. The smiles and excitement on both their faces said everything.

From there it was out into the Gosfield courtyard for an incredible confetti moment and then time to properly relax and enjoy the day.

Charlie & Lucy put so much trust in me throughout the day, which I always really appreciate. We got through the group shots quickly and efficiently, giving them more time with their guests and allowing me to concentrate on all those little moments happening naturally around them.

Then, once the light had gone, I stole them away for a few minutes for one of my signature night shots.

Seeing their reaction when I showed them the back of the camera ❤️

Ron & Becs ❤️

I bloody loved photographing this awesome wedding.

Back at Crondon Park for Ron & Becs and I don’t think these two stopped smiling all day. 🥰

There was such an easy feel to the whole wedding. Nothing forced, nothing taken too seriously, just two people having the best day with all their favourite people around them.

Jamie & Georgie ❤️

One of those weddings where everything just clicked.

No rushing around, no drama, just everyone enjoying themselves and making the most of every minute. It made photographing the day an absolute pleasure….soooo much fun!! 🙌🏻☺️

Jamie and Georgie were an absolute joy to work with, and they were surrounded by the most genuine, kind and loving group of family and friends. The atmosphere from the morning right through to the evening was incredible, and I think that really shines through in the photographs.

Samantha Harvey as always knocked it out the park, supplying the soundtrack to the whole day. 🔥

What a wedding! ❤️

Mike & Alexandra, thank you so much for trusting me to capture one of the biggest days of your lives. Being trusted with those memories is something I’ll never take for granted, and I felt incredibly privileged to witness and capture so many beautiful moments throughout your day.

From the moment I arrived, the whole day just had such a great feel to it. Everyone was there for the right reasons, celebrating the two of you, and it made for such a relaxed and enjoyable day to photograph.

I also have to mention your family and friends. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Whenever I needed people to move, gather together or borrow someone for a few minutes, everyone was so attentive, happy to help and never once grumbled. It might sound like a small thing, but it makes such a difference and helps the day flow naturally.
