This flower-filled hatbox was created using a large hatbox and Agrawool biodegradable floral foam which works really well in this kind of design. Flowers used were Peony 'Sarah Bernhardt', Rosa 'Avalanche ' spray Dianthus 'Fleurette' and foliage was Pittosporum tenuifoliim

This lovely bouquet consisted of lilac standard Dianthus, lilac Lizianthus, light blue Delphinium, lilac Matthiola and delicately scented pink Phlox along with some Ruscus Hypophyllum. Presented in a gift bag and tissue. All my bouquets have their stems in water within a glass jar to prevent the use of cellophane being used.

These delicate roses were very fresh when i bought them and looked stunning when made into this simple hand-tied bouquet.

This was made as a gift to a couple celebrating the birth of their baby boy. White Dianthus and variegated Pittosporum tenuifolium. I used biodegradable floral foam in the base of the hatbox which can either be re-used, dug into the garden or added to the compost bin after use.

Roses are so useful in a bouquet of any size. These were of a good quality and very fresh so if looked after will stay looking good for at least a week. My bouquets always have their stems in water within a glass jar to which flower food has been added. I do not use cellophane as i abhor adding un- biodegradable substances to landfill if i can help it.

These bright yellow roses contrast beautifully in colour with the purple Matthiola or stocks. A pleasing bouquet given as a retirement gift.

Just wanted to share this picture of Horse Chestnut tree blossom. Amazing to think that brown glossy conkers will develop as the seeds of these awesome British trees. Such exquisite details on the flowers which from a distance you do not appreciate.

I was asked to create a bouquet of yellows, oranges and greens. Yellow 'Momentum' roses and orange ' Helix' roses complimented each other well and orange Gerbera 'Optima' offered another type of texture with their frill of multiple petals emanating from the dark centres. The elegant flower heads of Alstromeria 'Virginia' provided a contrast in form. The only foliage used was Bupleurum which was fun and easy to use. The texture and form of Bupleurum softened the overall look of the finished bouquet and provided a sense of rhythm as the eye was lead from one cluster of flowers to another. There were over 50 stems to this bouquet. Quite a challenge to hold them all when i was making it!

This bouquet was created using some lovely and good quality red and white roses along with some Alstromeria. Gypsophila provided a constrast in form and texture whilst the 2-dimensional form, matt texture and pointed leaves of the Eucalyptus enhanced those of the flowers. Presented in a pleasing wrap of tissue paper.
All my bouquets have their stems in a glass jar with water and flower food added. I do not use cellophane.
