🎡🎠It’s our first day open in the beautiful Maldon Promenade Park🎠🎡

We have vintages rides for all ages to enjoy some good old fashioned fun this half term.

⏰open from 12pm until 8pm⏰

📅opening daily until Sunday 31st May📅

🎟️All rides are 3 tokens per person(Dodgems 5 tokens per car) Tokens are £1.20 each or 10 for £10, with free rides available on multiple token purchases🎟️

💷Our token booth accepts cash and card payments when purchasing tokens💷

Apologies for not posting anything for a while.
It’s been a busy closed season for us with numerous renovation work being done.

As we get ready for the fast approaching 2026 season, today is organ tuning day. This includes any remedial work that may be needed, plus a full tune of all pipework to keep our organs playing to the best of their abilities whilst travelling the country.

Everyone at Downs Steam Fair would like to wish a happy 100th birthday to Dick Van D**e

We are very proud to be able to say that our “Pride of the South” gallopers featured in one of his many fantastic films, this of course being “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” which was filmed at Pinewood Studios 57 years ago.

Despite the grey skies and gloomy weather our “Pride of the South” gallopers are into their second weekend of entertaining visitors to Rochester dickens festival & Christmas market, part of Christmas in Medway.

We will be in Rochester again next Friday, Saturday & Sunday for the final weekend of the market before moving onto Norwich to see out the festive holidays.

‼️‼️We will be opening today at Promenade Park, Maldon at 12pm (Wednesday 28th May)‼️‼️

🎠🎡why not visit our Steam fair for some good old fashioned fun this half term🎡🎠

🎟️The pay booth will be open at 11:30 and last token sales at 7:45pm🎟️

⏰Rides are opening daily from 12pm until 8pm, the park & steam fair are free to enter⏰

‼️☔️Due to todays forecast of heavy rain and wind we have decided to not open the vintage steam fair at Promenade Park, Maldon.(Tuesday 27th May)☔️‼️

☀️We will open again as planned tomorrow at 12pm(Wednesday 28th May)☀️
