Meeting Dany and her gorgeous family was a lovely experience as we explored Hylands in the only heatwave we've experienced this summer! It was a scorcher, even at 9am, but nobody melted and I was over the moon when I heard Dany was pleased with the photos 😊

I felt a bit of pressure to deliver last Saturday when I met the lovely and family. I'd been briefed by Becky about what they didn't like about their wedding photographs. I really felt for them, it must have been so disappointing at the time. She wanted to capture some natural shots in celebration of their 10 year anniversary this year and I'm over the moon that you like them Becky (and relieved too 😉) It was so lovely to meet you all!

Thank you so much for asking me to take your photos. It was so different to the shoots I'm used to but I absolutely loved it and we had so much fun capturing these. You made it so easy with your creativity, style and flexible attitude, Martina 🥰 I can't wait to meet the wee one when he/she arrives 😍

Possibly the last Lockdown Doorstep Photoshoot before the schools start to open and things slowly get back to some kind of normality. It's been such a lovely project to work on through lockdown, meeting and chatting to wonderful people who don't actually live in my house...even if only for a few minutes! Thank you to Vicky and her family for today - it's amazing we managed to get a photo with everyone looking in the same direction. Even the newest addition to the family (though that was more of a happy coincidence)😍 Thank you for making a donation to Action on Postpartum Psychosis. Every donation really will make a difference to them!

Another sunny doorstep photoshoot yesterday with the lovely Courtney and family. Courtney is also a wonderful nurse at Broomfield Hospital 😍 I feel so privileged to be meeting such amazing people through this fundraising project. It even turns out our children will be starting the same school in September 😃Thank you so much for letting me document lockdown for you and share these!

Yesterday was a good day. I loved the conversations with neighbours during our VE Day celebrations, and it was also lovely to photograph more families on their doorsteps. Thank you to Katie and Bonita for letting me share their photos! APP will be so grateful for any donations received...

Thank you to the families who got in touch yesterday, it was lovely to see you from a safe distance and to be able to document this time. Thank you Claire for kindly letting me share your photo. A big thank you all for donating to APP. It really is greatly appreciated, especially since the smaller charities are likely to be struggling at the moment! If you order high quality prints of your photos directly from my gallery, I will make sure all proceeds also go to APP.

Doorstep Photoshoot 🏠📷

Well, we had fun posing for our lockdown photograph! I do love an excuse to use a tripod 😀 Joggy bottoms have been my comfy clothing of choice since lockdown began so I didn't think dressing up in my finery would accurately reflect this period in time but it might be an excuse to get your glad rags on if you prefer!

If you live on or nearby Stewart Road/Hillside Grove in Chelmsford and would like to have a family photograph on your doorstep taken from a safe distance, that I can incorporate into my daily walk, please get in touch. I will be walking about 4pm today or next weekend. I will upload the photos onto my online gallery, where they can be downloaded for free.

All I ask is that you make a donation to my chosen charity, Action for Postpartum Psychosis (APP), which has really helped me and my family in the past. It is such a small charity and every donation they receive really does make a difference and helps them to operate their peer support, develop key information, support research and campaign for improved services for women and families.
