A late-summer wedding filled with colour at beautiful Braxted Park 🤍🌿

We loved designing and creating the flowers for R & O’s gorgeous wedding at Braxted Park last weekend.

A beautiful palette of crisp whites and ivory, rich berry and deep burgundy, reds and fresh greens created a romantic but contemporary feel.

From the bouquets to the outdoor ceremony and reception flowers, we carried these gorgeous tones throughout the day — and Braxted Park is always such a beautiful backdrop to flower 🌷

It was an absolute honour to be asked to create the iconic “Travolta”dress, worn by Princess Diana at the White House in 1985. Every part of this dancing Diana is entirely botanical.

The world premiere of Fleurs de Villes DIANA is in support of The Diana Award—a fresh floral celebration of the life, legacy and enduring influence of Diana, Princess of Wales—at
Somerset House from 16 September–6 October.

Leading British floral designers have created 15 spectacular fresh floral mannequins inspired by some of Diana’s most iconic looks.

Behind every floral masterpiece is a remarkable story, revealing how Diana used fashion to connect with people, champion the causes she cared about, and inspire compassion and action around the world.

Beyond the mannequins, there are stunning fresh floral installations which have transformed the East Wing Galleries into a breathtaking celebration of flowers, showcasing the creativity and artistry of floral design.

In this part of the display we created “The Divides”. With a red rock backdrop there were hardy florals and succulents from surrounded by bleached branches and grasses, Quicksand Roses, bleached Peacock feathers, skulls and dried materials. A display of deep fracture, lack of rain, shared hardship and social divide.

I loved this area in the dusty tones and it was perfectly complimented by the Renewal foam from in terms of colour but also in concept with this compostable foam breaking down and the societal breakdown represented by this area of the display.
