It’s somehow been six weeks since my last post already… because peak wedding season is in full flow, and I’ve been deep in editing. Making sure every couple and their wedding pictures have my full attention.
I have so many wonderful moments to share from these past few months.

So here's just a quick post from this summer just to break my seasonal radio silence - Emily and Ian's wedding at The Charterhouse. A stunning and historical venue, with guests travelling far and wide from across the world to celebrate this wonderful couple.

You may have noticed that on social media and on my website (where you can see so much more), I don't concentrate on posting only photographs of the newly married couple.

I take photographs of everyone, because every person is who they are thanks to all the people in their lives and their experiences. Every couple.
The people who book me tell me they appreciate having a record of their friends and family alongside the moments of them together on the day they got married.
The in-between moments.

I am now booking summer holiday family photography sessions.

No sitting still or forced smiles. Just genuine moments, captured with the same relaxed documentary approach my wedding clients book me for.
I have a few sessions available this summer—for families who appreciate real childhood moments over perfect poses.
Unhurried and stress-free.

I've done a minor redesign of my site before wedding season gets really busy. I've gone for two different typefaces: something old and something new.
Seemed appropriate!
And it's an excuse to post a link to my site, just in case anyone needs someone like me.

Documentary Wedding Photographer. Unstaged moments, free from forced smiles and clichés. Pictures full of warmth and humour.

I don’t need to explain why this picture always makes me smile. The photograph says it all.

A late night scene in the Smoking Room of The National Liberal Club.
A tired couple take a break on a sofa.
A jacket and shoes, belonging to other guests, left wherever they fell.
Neon green sunglasses worn by the bust Joseph Firth Bottomley Firth
All signs that the celebrations went well: great food, good wine, and some questionable dancing.

Well said Daniel Bridge Photography Tuition
For a start, I know you because of the shop!

Every single wedding I have photographed over the past 15 years has been with equipment I bought here — in person. When it comes to my camera gear and photographing important moments, I have to be able to trust both my equipment, where I bought it and the customer service.

I have great memories from over the years, getting to know everyone here.

Will be very sad to see CameraWorld leave Chelmsford.
