Every child deserves the opportunity to approach learning with confidence.

Scholars Academy has been created to help children preparing for the 11+ build strong foundations in Mathematics and English, while developing the problem-solving skills, resilience and self-belief that will support them long after the exam is over.

Led by experienced teachers Myra and Lucy, sessions combine academic rigour with a nurturing, supportive approach, helping children feel challenged, encouraged and ready to reach their potential.

Whether your child is aiming for the CSSE or CEM exams, or you simply want to strengthen their confidence and core skills, Scholars Academy provides expert guidance in a welcoming environment.

Angel Pavilion was created with a simple but powerful vision: community cohesion through collaboration.

It began when our founder, Myra, saw the potential in a disused building at Angel Meadow. Rather than seeing what it was, she imagined what it could become. A place where people of all ages and backgrounds could come together to learn, create, celebrate and support one another.

Today, that vision is reflected in everything that happens here. From community groups and wellbeing workshops to business events, family celebrations and creative activities, Angel Pavilion exists to bring people together.

Communities become stronger when people have spaces to meet, share ideas and build relationships. We're proud to provide one of those spaces, and we look forward to welcoming many more people through our doors in the years to come.

Hiring a venue should be straightforward, which is why we've included many of the essentials to make planning your event that little bit easier.

When you hire Angel Pavilion you'll have access to tables and chairs, WiFi, heating and air conditioning, accessible facilities and free parking at Broomfield Community Centre car park.

You're also welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks, or if you'd rather keep things simple, we can help arrange catering in advance through Cheerful Chai. We even offer the option of running a café tab for your guests, with hirers receiving 10% off their final bill.

Looking forward to Spark! Youth playing a part in our festival this year and looking at ways in which we can ensure youth voice carries more weight in future decision making too. They came to our trial “soul and sizzle” last year so it will be great to have them here at a proper outdoor festival this year. And hopefully in the future too 😊

Our friends at The Happiness Equation are hosting a new community wellbeing festival, called DOSE FEST, designed to inspire, educate and entertain.

This uplifting 1-day festival brings together movement, creativity, music, talks, workshops, community connection and practical wellbeing support for individuals, families and the wider community.

Across the day, visitors can explore a range of feel-good activities and experiences linked to the four wellbeing chemicals - dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins, including:

💜Movement and family-friendly activity sessions
💚Creative workshops and a Children’s Art Trail
💛Wellbeing talks, keynote speakers and lived experience voices
💜Music, performances and the central Equation Stage
💚Community stalls, local providers and support services
💛Quiet space to reset, recharge and reconnect
