Struggling to decide where to have breakfast this morning? 🍳Treat yourself and head to Brightside. We visited as a family of three and were genuinely surprised at how affordable the large portions were. It felt like real value without compromising on quality.

Walking into Brightside on the A303 was like stepping into a roadside diner from the 1970s, complete with orange lamps and comfortable booth seating.

We were welcomed by our hostess Karen who was simply amazing and explained everything clearly. We ordered large breakfasts so we could try a bit of everything, and even our eleven year old commented on how quick the service was. The food was excellent, proper high quality breakfast ingredients, with a wide variety of options to suit different dietary needs. Go on, treat yourself to breakfast at Brightside. You will not regret it.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

This week, and in celebration of International Women’s Day, we would like to shine the spotlight on Aimee and her business Whitegate Grooming. Highlighting the businesses that support Health & Remedy:

After a long winter our dog Foxi 🦊 was in serious need of a groom, but unfortunately everywhere seemed to be fully booked. Luckily Aimee was able to be flexible and fit her in before she started looking more like a yeti 🐕. It is only about seven minutes outside Chard and when we arrived at the working farm we found a lovely purpose built grooming room where Aimee took the time to ask questions and make sure Foxi would be calm and comfortable during her trim.

I headed back into town and about an hour later I received a message giving me thirty minutes notice that she would be ready. When I picked Foxi up she looked about five pounds lighter and apparently had had a little nap too, which says everything about how relaxed she was. She even left with a little flower on her collar 🌸 ready for spring. Aimee’s attention to detail was brilliant and she was so welcoming and kind. Foxi will definitely be going back.
