A historic and internationally renowned building, the Temple of Peace has hosted United Nations and peace events for many years, one of the highlights being a visit by Desmond Tutu. It has also attracted use for film and TV locations such as for His Dark Materials and was used by the BBC to film episodes of Doctor Who, Sherlock and Casualty. Grass areas are available around the building where marquees can be erected, plus there is disability and wheelchair access. The Temple of Peace is easily accessible from the city centre, close to local transport links, accommodation options and Cardiff Registry Office. We have the Marble Hall for hire, which seats up to 200 theatre or 160 cabaret, as well as the smaller committee room and Council Chamber.
